Bought one of those expensive mattress covers to replace one that gave up after years of use. I buy the same ones for all the mattresses I have bought from this company. A cloth topped cover to protect the mattress and my warranty. I was dealing with a new associate and told him the type I needed. He grabbed one off the shelf and wrote me up. I took it home, opened the box, pulled out one corner and realized it was not the same one I usually buy. I took it back to exchange it for the correct one and the same associate was not sure how to do an exchange, so he called a manager at corporate. The manager told him they do not take back any mattress covers and used the covid BS excuse. The associate hung up immediately without even telling the manager that I never took it out of the box. No exchange was granted and I ended up with a hundred-dollar, noisy, plastic mattress cover that I would never have bought. I'm done with this company and all my future business goes elsewhere. The protectors are expensive, I would recommend Walmart or Amazon before buying one here. At least you can return them without being hassled and stuck with something you can't use. Hello mattress shoppers! I decided after 17 years I was definitely in the market for a new mattress. I saw a commercial on TV that showed the adjustable bed. Hmmm. So, I knew there was a mattress store in North East as I live in the neighborhood and do prefer to shop locally. After work yesterday I stopped in and met the floor salesperson, Barry. He was very personable and was able to answer my questions. He was full of information and I did do the computer program they offer to help identify and suggest mattresses that you might be interested in trying out. There's a lot of mattresses in the store. Not overwhelming choices, but sufficient amount of choices. I pretty well knew what I wanted, the quality that I wanted and yet knew my budget as well. We worked together until we came to an agreement and I was able to get the mattress and power unit set. They're currently offering 0% financing so why put it on a credit card or take money out of the bank. They're delivering on a Saturday, with a 3 hour window and a call the day ahead with notice. Went in to look at some futon mattresses. Told the salesman (don’t know his name because he never introduced himself) that we were just looking. His manner was extremely offputting. Just kept trying to push to get us to buy something even though we said several times that we’re researching mattresses still. This was the first place we’d gone to look in person. The rest of our research had been online at that point. From the way he kept trying to push and ask questions, it seemed like he thought we couldn’t afford to buy a $350 futon mattress. Nothing could be further from the truth. We just were not going to purchase the first thing we saw. When he realized he wasn’t going to make a sale, he just turned and walked off to his desk. Most salespeople would thank us for coming in and ask us to keep them in mind, etc. Not this guy. I think he did choke out a goodbye but that was about it. I disliked his pushy sales tactic and his dismissal of us. Even if I were inclined to purchase that mattress, I WILL NOT purchase from Mattress Warehouse now.
