Subway — Restaurant in Maryland

Coming home from a day out with my kids my wife calls and has a craving for a BMT sub, look up Subway and find the one in Walmart open untill 9:30 PM on 9/3/2023, cool she has been ill and I have time. Walk in and up the counter past the sliding metal barrier that is already half way closed at 9:12 PM only to be told "We are closed, cleaning up for the night". Perhaps you should not advertise 9:30 online and on the sign in the store if you are going to stop taking care of customers before then, I assume there is time allowed after close to clean up like most eateries. I gave decent scores on food and atmosphere because of food quality I usually get at other locations, but I was disappointed to go home to my ill wife empty handed, if may have been one sandwich to him, but to a wife that just got out of the hospital it woud have been...

We would like to thank to the Subway staffs (one lady and one gentleman) at this location for superb service. We are two Muslim Scout moms who just got out of the camping 'jungle' at Rodney and were smelled like burned wood (campfire) stopped by at this station. Not only the gentleman took his time to to listen to our orders especially with one allergy concerned order but they gave good portion of everything that you will not going to get from Subway where we live. He careful changed his gloves and handle the food. With smile and nice greeting from the lady knowing that we will have to travel far, she took her time to pack our food accordingly, extra napkins and wish us a safe trip. Just went to this subway and ordered a chicken teriyaki sub. I asked for the meat and cheese to be heated up separately and then the sub toasted because I have had problems before with cold subs from this particular subway. The girl left the chicken in the microwave for all of 5 seconds and then toasted it for maybe 10 additional seconds. The cheese wasn't melted and the chicken was still cold. The sub roll clearly wasn't even slightly toasted. I am very disappointed after spending almost $10 for a sub meal that can't even be consumed. I will spend the extra time traveling to the elkton location because I will never go back to the north...
