My experience with this company was absolutely unacceptable. I placed my order an entire month before my event, thinking I was giving them plenty of time to get it right. I followed up multiple times to confirm details, only to be brushed off and told it was “too soon to talk about final details.” I was promised a call one week before my event to finalize colors, fonts, and specifics. And guess what? That call never came! When I tried to follow up a few days before the event, I got nothing. No calls back. No emails. Radio silence. The day before my event, I finally got someone on the phone! Yay! No. It was only for them to be rude and tell me they were “too busy delivering orders” to confirm mine and that I should “call back later.” When I did, all I got was a vague “your order is ready” and no delivery details. Shocker!
I specifically requested delivery at 11:30 a.m. Did they come at 11:30? You guessed right. No they did not! They rolled in at 12:55 p.m.—just FIVE minutes before my event started. Nothing like your friends and family showing up to your baby shower while the setup isn’t even done. And when I saw the final setup, I was furious. The cutouts were sloppy and poorly made. I even asked them not to use certain ones because they looked so bad. The phrases were wrong, the colors were wrong, the “baby blocks” were flimsy cardboard boxes falling apart, with the letter B’s upside down. I asked them to pick up their junk after the event at 5 p.m. Nobody showed. Two hours later, still nothing. The NEXT DAY, the venue contacted me saying the garbage they left behind was still there.
This wasn’t just bad service. It was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The lack of professionalism, the rudeness, the poor craftsmanship. I could’ve dealt with the way I was treated if the product at least came out good, but my god it was AWFUL. Read moreI recently chose Balloon World for a baby shower I was hosting at home. I visited their location on Route 46, showed a pic of what I wanted, confirmed balloon colors on site and paid promptly. Relatively smooth transaction. My issue was with the final product. When the delivery person showed up, the item I ordered was incomplete. There were two parts to the balloon order and just one showed up. I never received a call from the shop owner giving me an explanation as to why the order was incomplete and if they would be back with the missing item. Nothing. Shortly before the event was to start, I called to confirm when they were coming back to deliver the second piece. The shop order could not give me a concreate reason as to why the balloon order was incomplete, confirmed the missing piece would not be delivered and after I pushed him on giving me a credit, he unapologetically offered to give me a credit of $50 for the missing piece. Instead of being responsive and proactive, the shop owner did not have a care in the world. You were quick to charge me but when an issue presents itself, customer service goes out the door. For all the comments I read about the great client service you offer my impression is less than that. When you fail to provide a final product as stated in a contract, you should go above and beyond to resolve the issue. Even if you couldn’t deliver the second piece, YOU should have called me, excused yourself and YOU should have offered to provide a credit. When it comes to events I expect empathy from the seller, this ( I don't know) manager or owner, have zero of empathy, respect, neither have a good customer service. When I made a payment for the ballons I included pictures and descriptions, I talked with a girl for around 20- 30 minutes explain every detail ( cause it was for my son's second birthday) she show him the paper, he agreed and proceeded to charge me, so the thing was that he didn't told me that the ballons for what I asked for are unavailable, anyway he charge me for that. At the day of my event the delivery guy arrived with a completely different design from my original idea, he not only did not send me some items but he did not answer the phone that day and the coming days that I tried to contact him, he claimed that was super busy, that he call me back, even my husband call him, finally today after 3 weeks to try to get contact with him, after a long call of super bad actitud, he claimed that it was our fault just cause we spoke with a teenager ( which he send her to spoke with me) and I have to be grateful for get something that I never ask for, so thanks to Ian I cry a lot on my son's birthday, maybe some people think that is a simple stuff but for me it was important.
