Items at this specific location are way overpriced! You're better off shopping retail. At one point, Goodwill's mission was to treat people with dignity and respect, by being socially, financially, and environmentally responsible. It seems like these core values are no longer upheld, and corporate greed and corruption has taken over. The sole purpose of a thrift store is to help needy families acquire basic necessities, and to help struggling communites. Not getting wealthy off the backs of the disabled and less fortunate. Tread lightly before you think of donating items and funds to this organization. Its sole purpose is to line the pockets of their CEO, and not help people in need! You've been warned!

If you intend to come for their physical media section (DVDs, CDs, VHS, books, etc), don't even bother. This is one of the worst selections I've ever seen in any thrift store ever. It's painfully obvious now that a lot of it just goes to their online sites to sell at exorbitant prices. One of the shelves was completely empty and there was maybe 15 DVDs and 15 CDs total across all 4 shelves. Seeing this spot and the Goodwill Outlet in Hackensack not carry physical media like they used to sucks.

I had a horrible experience today just about 30 minutes ago at the store. I was purchasing four items one of them being a tote bag. That was a knock off of a Goyard. It was extremely apparent that it was a knock off because of the plastic around the straps no Real goyard would have that. The bag was priced at $9.99 and it was hanging where all the rest of the bags were. When I went to pay for it, the cashier raised it up in the air and told the guy look look. I took it back, had it in my hands, and the guy came over to me and ripped it right from my hands. That’s assault!!! Then he started yelling that he couldn’t sell that to me, which is complete nonsense. Once it has a price tag and it’s on the floor, It is available for anyone who wants to purchase it. Started yelling that he had to authenticated. Like he is some type of expert. And it was evident that it was not real, and even if it was, it had a price tag, and it was hanging with the rest of the pocketbooks. I felt violated and assaulted by both of them No one should have to be treated that way when they go in to...

The pics online make it look like it will be a nice donating experience. Parking spaces right in front of the donation center and everything. But it was not. At first, there was no help with the heavier boxes. And it’s not like the worker was helping anyone else at the time. So can’t figure that one out. There’s more about that but I’ll drop that here. The boxes I brought in he dumped everything out of them, breaking the boxes and making me take the now broken boxes away for him. I arrived with a car full of organized boxes and am leaving with a ripped up mess of cardboard. I carefully selected and packed a lifetime of my mother’s things, including classic books and other things she took care of. To watch this guy’s handling of them, all I can say is - though I will likely donate to another Goodwill location, I will never come back to this one. Demonstrated disregard. Our donations help these organizations. This location doesn’t...

I called ahead to ascertain operating hours and donation parameters, then gathered the items and made a special trip to donate when it would have been easier to throw away the stuff, only to be told upon arrival that donations are only accepted between 9AM and 2PM and to return the next morning. When a facility tells you this and they aren't paying for the items or your time to travel, that is a special kind of insult. Idgaf about pandemics or not updating your phone menus, Goodwill should gladly accept donations regardless of when they are brought as there be many peeps in need who could use good pre-owned clothing and stuff. I waz even going to buy from here, but not now after this piss-poor experience. Really, who tf tells generous people to take they stuff and come back the next day???? That takes a special kind of s**thole...
