Seeking the Supreme

By now we have all seen the viral videos of the Supreme Croissant, with its flaky circular crust in London & NYC, but luckily for us Dallasite we have a bakery right here in our backyard that makes them. La 57 located at 207 S Kaufman St. in Ennis, TX offers the Supreme Croissant and many other delicious pastries and coffee. They also sell their croissants at the Dallas Farmers Market, but I strongly recommend going to the main store so that you can try my favorite the Churro Cruffin and the Crème Brulee Latte....☕️☕️😂😂

The Supreme Croissant:

We were able to get the Raspberry White Chocolate Supreme and the Nutella Supreme.....🤤🤤 ....These were worth the wait and drive.....both were flavorful and delicious. We also had the smores that come in the mini size. It is also pretty good, but out of these 3 options, the Raspberry is the best.

The Main Store:

At the main store in Ennis, TX, you have more options such as almond croissants, churro cruffins, ham and cheese croissants, espressos, and lattes.Yall, please try the Churro Cruffin and dip it in your Crème Brulee Latte....it's freaking amazing!!!!

Regardless if you go to the main store or to the Dallas Farmers Market, you should consider getting to either location extremely early or PRE-ORDER because these items do sell out quickly*

I sent my nephew in with my order this morning, it was not a complicated order by any means. When he asked for a plain cream cheese pastry the blonde who was taking the order responded with "okay, um so you want the strawberry?" 😳 then she proceeds to have my nephew run my card multiple times charging me a total of $68 for my $22.45 order. When I went inside and showed her where the multiple transactions had indeed gone through, she responded by telling me that I needed to take that up with my bank, as if it was no inconvenience to me. I come here because it's right around the corner from my house and I prefer to support small businesses but I could've gone to Starbucks which isn't that much further from me and not been overcharged or dismissed for an employees mistake. I called to talk with the manager and they took my number but failed to contact me back.

My husband and I for the infamous croissants we keep seeing on IG and OMG YES! It's everything and more! We came early Saturday morning (after the gym) HA! It's a small and cute little cafè. Parking is VERY LIMITED! As soon as you walk in they have a display of what all they have for the day. We got the croissants of course. Or how I prefer to say KWASON :D. I got the piña colada inspired and my husband the chocolate with chocolate gouache. 10/10 AMAZING! We took them to go but they were still fresh when we got home. They didn't have the raspberry one which the one on the IG video so we'll definitely come back when they have it. Each croissant is about $9 each (they don't have that on the menu) definitely worth it...
