I've seen all of the Michael Jackson shows in Vegas. This one is the best one - including the (awful) Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil.
This show is 90 minutes (MJ Live at Tropicana is 60 minutes) and the show was packed.
Show starts out with Jackson Five songs, moves into the 80's and 90's. There are three different impersonators. While they aren't the best lookalikes, they have fantastic dance moves.
I still can't tell if this show is lip syncing or actual singing. They have mics and a live band - keyboardist, bass, guitar and drums, and probably 10 backup dancers.
The bar is in the lobby area so you won't have people criss-crossing your seat like at MJ Live. Drinks are SUPER affordable. $8-$12 for premium drinks!
Out of all the MJ shows I've seen, this one is the best. Check it out because they were just picked up for a residency starting May...
Read moreWe saw MJ Live at the Tropicana. Don’t know if it’s the same as MJ Evolution. This is an absolutely outstanding show and tribute to Michael Jackson at all levels, the band, the dancers, and most importantly the star impressionist, Jalles Franca, who flawlessly nails Michael Jackson to a tee. His dance moves make you think you're seeing MJ and his voice makes you think you're hearing MJ. The show is wonderfully choreographed and produced to literally take you back to the days of MJ. I really can't imagine there being a better MJ tribute show than MJ Live or there being a better tribute actor/ singer than Franca. High energy and stellar performances of all involved leave you wanting more at the end because you simply don't want the show to end! Highly recommend and will see show again when I’m...

This particular performance was deliverable. Vocals were impactful with lights and dancers to accentuate the segments of each era of Michael Jackson and his young life during his early years in the industry.
I am talking about Caja Pearson. He exceedingly fulfilled his role as a young Michael Jackson for the first time on the Monday night’s opening night. Mind you…he is only 15 years old. His strength with dance moves, and precision were delightfully received by the audience, and that includes myself with astonishment. With combinations of confidence, enthusiasm and contagious energy, Caja demanded attention. Well…he got it!!! We look forward to seeing him grow more in his character and representation. To all cast members...
