L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Nevada

This location isn't as good as others I have been to. They are very stingy with the portions and especially the coveted Katsu sauce. Last time I tried to order a mini bbq combo and was told they only have it in the larger size. I point it out on the menu above, but she just repeats herself. Now mind you, she was very pleasant the whole time. I got the feeling she was just following orders. Anyway, I just settled on the larger one and when she asks if it was to go, I asked if they could pack it up so I could take it in my backpack. She looked at me puzzled so I explained that I was on motorcycle. She apologetically said no, so I told her I would just eat there. Well I waited for about a solid 20 mins - which it never takes this long at other locations. It wasn't even very busy. When she finally brings my order to my table it's packed up to go. It was obvious I had made myself comfortable and ready to eat there so she gives me this annoyed look asking of I was eating there. I told her that is what I said. So then she abruptly unties my bag so she can confiscate the two containers of Katsu sauce and tells me she'll bring a bottle. The bottle has maybe half thw amount of sauce than she originally gave me. The bbq beef is so thin and dry I couldn't even begin to enjoy it. Its like they put the same amount of pieces as other locations do, but its so thin you maybe get actually half of what you are supposed to. This location needs a little work on customer service. And if you're going to split hairs about portion sizes and be overly concerned about saving every little bit of product that you can, you'll lose a lot more...

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered six espamasubis along with a fried shrimp dish. I was very pleased—both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh, making for a truly satisfying meal.

Upon entering the restaurant, I did notice a slight odor reminiscent of old food, which was a bit off-putting at first. Additionally, the seating arrangements were somewhat cramped and uncomfortable, which could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, the customer service stood out positively. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that everything was to my liking, which made the visit more enjoyable.

While the ambiance and seating could use some attention, the food itself definitely makes up for it. The espamasubis were cooked perfectly, and the fried shrimp was crispy and flavorful without being greasy. I appreciated the care put into the preparation and presentation.

Overall, this restaurant doesn’t disappoint when it comes to delivering tasty dishes. If they improve the seating comfort and address the initial smell, it would be an even better place to dine. For now, the quality of the food and good customer service make it...

First of all if I could rate them a zero I would so they should be lucky I’m even giving them a 1. We called around 9 to make a phone order , and the lady said they can’t take phone order bc they stop taking phone orders at 9. The website says they closed at 10. We live 2 minutes down the street so we got there at 9:05 I walked in the store I could see all the attitude from all the workers , the lady that took my order was very rude , and having an attitude, when the guy went to take the order to the back, and read it off to the cook I could hear her complain real loudly. I understood why they had an attitude as I was getting into the car with my food all the workers walked out , and they closed the store mind you without doing any of the dishes i assume bc two minutes after I got my food they was coming right behind me closing the store you were having an attitude with me because you wanted to close your store early mind you the website says it close at 10 , if you wanna close early please change your time online , and your service is just horrible fix your attitude I will be taking my business somewhere else...
