I wanted to give this give a 3 or 4 star. Yes it’s a very nice venue, however I was very disappointed with a late notification given by the venue manager. Here’s the story in a nutshell.
After traveling 14 hours from Atlanta for a wedding back in September 2024. I arrive at the venue early morning the next day. I’ve 3 spaces to set up for Wedding starts at 4pm. After setting up I prepare to leave out around 2:30pm so to shower and get dress. As I’m leaving out I’m approached by the venue manager and told my equipment in the middle hallway where the reception will be taking place is to close to the walls and I have to move everything about 3 feet more away from the walls. This infuriated me, why wait so long to say this to me. I know for sure I’m going to be late if I reset everything. So I did what I could and pulled things out but left it as that. Once I return to the venue I’m being rushed in every direction. Even my DJ set up in the stage area / head table area was change with boxed me in between the steps and the stage.
I will still give this venue 5 Stars because it is an awesome venue to have your wedding. But it definitely should be noted that in the center hallway nothing is to be closer than 5 feet from the walls.

Read moreVisited The Erie Art Museum. Enjoyed the Daniel Burke: Callings--Six decades of art and education. This was a retrospective of the artists' work, who I was not familiar with, however, the art was curious and interesting. Our visit to the museum was brief, but we did take the opportunity to explore the "Art-O-Mat" machine. A $5.00 token placed into the slot in the front of a refurbished vintage cigarette machine presents you with a hand made art object created by an artist from somewhere in the world. I received a "folk art sculture". No visit to Erie, or anywhere, is complete without lunch! Molly Brannigan's pub has a great menu with stews and Guinness stout, potato dishes, fantastic burgers with flavorful fries! And chocolate peanut butter pie! I almost forgot the reason for the visit was to pick up paintings rejected from the spring show! Oh well, better...
