The Bayfront Convention Center is a hub for a variety of large attractions and events along the bayfront of Lake Erie. I visited during the Home & Garden Expo. Vendors filled the entire convention center and various shows were going on during the event. A snack bar is located in the convention center for snacking and fast food.

The convention center is located on a single, ground-level floor. The convention center is easy to maneuver for those in wheelchairs.

VIEWS 5/5: The Bayfront Convention Center contains many large windows looking into the Erie Bay, marina and the lake itself. A sidewalk loops the convention center providing for a beautiful walk.

CLEANLINESS: 5/5 The convention center is clean and bright. For the number of people at the convention center, it was quite clean.

RESTROOMS: 5/5 Large restrooms with numerous urinals and stalls are available throughout the convention center. A few family/private restrooms are available throughout the center.

PARKING: 4/5 Several large parking lots are available in front of the convention center. Arrive early as these lots fill up quickly. It may be a struggle to find parking as the day goes on. Parking was free for this event.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: 5/5 Two hotels are attached to the Bayfront Convention Center for those attending for multiple days.

I'm anxious to attend other events at the...

As a local wedding DJ, I spend a lot of time in banquet halls, barns, convention centers, hotels.

The experience I had with the staff this past Saturday was fantastic. Obviously the BCC is beautiful, great parking, clean awesome facilities, and great food, but what really set it apart to me was the staff.

From the beginning of my 15 hour day there for the Marine Corps ball, I was helped with setup and misc issues by Luis (Louis?) and his partner Shaq. They had a thorough knowledge of the tech in the room that we needed to tie into and were eager to help me with any issues, including helping hide my wires when I ran out of tape. Definitely not their job.

Later in the evening I was assisted a few times by Alexis and another girl, and her boss (name unknown), who absolutely were helpful and were able to make sure I got served dinner, had everything I needed, and was able to focus my energy on entertaining the guests.

Also worth mentioning, the load in and load out of equipment at BCC is always easy and efficient, which your vendors will love.

Top notch...

My husband and I recently got married and had our reception at the Bayfront Convention Center. We both grew up in Erie but currently live in NYC, but wanted to have the wedding in our hometown. The venue is absolutely amazing and the staff made all of our dreams come true! Seriously, it was our DREAM wedding! Jeff, the general manager, was so accommodating and made sure everything about our big day came off flawless! He even called a friend and had the Brig Niagara loop around next to the convention center during our ceremony and for photos! Susan, who is the main decor person did an absolutely AMAZING job. She went over the top on everything and I couldn't believe walking into the venue on my wedding day that all this was actually for me and my husband! AND THE FOOD!!! oh my goodness! The chef is fantastic and has the ability to make your dream menu happen. If you are looking for a great wedding venue in Erie- this is the only place to be!! With beautiful lake views, a gorgeous facility and wonderfully talented staff you won't be...

The atmosphere it Comicon is so awesome/friendly/entertaining!! You can’t beat it for 24$. Now the concession and the memorabilia will hit you for a tad bit more. I bought a t shirt that had no price and did my best not to react when it came out to almost 40$ after taxes but this is something every veteran Comicon goer knows. The thing that makes it worth it, is the custom and personalized items you can find. That being said, there are other items you can find that are more affordable. I found a 3D printed key chain (6$) and a stack of 7 DVD’s from “back in the day” (7$) that didn’t send the old debit card smoking back into my wallet. So to sum it up, wether you come ready to buy or just to go out and do some booth hopping there’s a good chance you will be able to enjoy yourself and have a great time at Comicon Erie!

So I DJ'ed a beautiful wedding here on June 29th and let me be the first to say THANK YOU for having me, I had a FANTASTIC time. Thank you to Ben who brought me in this afternoon and worked side by side with me, as was the first of many friendly faces I saw tonight. Then Vince and Tess who were rockstars of the evening coordination team also. From the sales team, to catering, to security, to the janitorial and ops staff. YOU ARE ALL AWESOME and I can't wait to see you again someday. Thank you for being professional and welcoming, as I was someone from outside of the state coming in to perform. I seriously loved every minute of being here and could sit and stare at the views of the lake all day. Congrats on another successful weekend of events!
