I wish this wasn't the case- but we're very disappointed with the service we received from the Warner and their staff for our wedding. The Warner charges $800 to have just your wedding ceremony there. This had been my dream venue so even though I felt that was a little steep, we paid the money to get married there. A month before the ceremony, I received an email telling me- not asking me- that another wedding would be rehearsing during my 4 hour block on my wedding day but that they "wouldn't touch anything so don't worry." When I expressed concern and said I wasn't comfortable with another wedding party rehearsing during my wedding time- I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable. I was also promised numerous times that the other wedding party would be on the opposite side of the Warner and we would never see them. On the day of my wedding- I walked into the Warner where my guests had already begun arriving- and there was the other wedding party going through their rehearsal. This is unacceptable to me. The Warner double booked two events and seemed completely unapologetic about it. And yes, I had a contract, and yes those people were rehearsing during my contracted time on my wedding day. No one wants a group of strangers present on one the most important and private days of your life. When I contacted Brighid with the Warner to express my complaint, she didn't even bother to respond. That shows me that to the Warner- you are not a bride on her wedding day- you're just another check for them to cash. As beautiful as the Warner is for a venue- they don't treat their customers with the dignity and respect...
Read moreThe Warner Theater is absolutely beautiful. They have done an amazing job with renovations. I recently attended the music of Phil Collins and Genesis show. I have to say I was disappointed 😔.
Entry was very tentative due to the security screening process, which I believe is only going to get worse with the newly implemented bag policy and strict restrictions being placed on what you may have on your person.
I have no idea who is running their sound system. I can only tell you they are terrible. The sound was muddy, especially when all the performers were playing/singing.
My wife and I are card carrying smokers. Yes, I know, we're terrible people. But it is my choice, and we're not alone. Intermission arrives, and of course we want to step outside for a smoke. Nope. If you leave the building, you may not return. This too, is new for the 24/25 season.
The lobby was packed upon arrival and again at intermission. Attendees of all ages were literally shoulder to shoulder, and many were offensively doused in Cologne or perfume, but that's ok?
Disappointed, we chose to leave at intermission and missed the second act. I would be remiss if I did not mention the staff were all very nice. Many of them stated they had heard other attendees stating how terrible the sound was during the first act.
All in all, if you do not mind having your senses assaulted with every cologne and perfume known to man, and you do not smoke, nor find being herded like cattle annoying, you might enjoy yourself. Until the performers efforts are piped through the awful...
