Possibly the worst place I've ever been to. I've never had to leave a bad review at a restaurant and am hesitant to do so as I know the stress waitstaff go through. However, guests need to be warned before they decide to dine here.

We were there almost 30 min before the server came by, even after I went to the bar to ask for service.

We were very excited to get the drinks for the advertised toys, which they didn't come with because they were out. Our server, Rebecca, gave us an attitude and asked if we really wanted them, and did at least look for some. The drinks were not good at all, but they were cheap, so can't complain too much.

The food was medicore at best. The melty cheese was oily, soggy, and absolutely tiny. No ketchup nor other condiments were brought with the burger. Despite ordering 3 entrees, we were only given 2 sets of silverware. There was nobody to ask for another set.

We were overcharged for the group shots. When I brought it up, Rebecca gave attitude and mentioned the prices went up despite the menus not reflecting this. She agreed to change the price to reflect what the menu lists and then GRABBED A CREDIT CARD OFF THE TABLE. It wasn't even in the center or near the table edge. We planned to split the bill and she had no right to grab somebody's card off the table.

I am extremely disappointed and will not return. I encourage others not to waste their time or money here. I had guests from out of town and was embarrased this is where I brought them. My guests mentioned they never had such terrible service in their life. The service is terrible, server had an attitude, the drinks and food...

My wife and I came in together. My wife is German, and therefore has a language barrier. She is also much more comfortable with me ordering for her, especially since I have more native knowledge of American beers and customs.

The tall blonde woman behind the bar, getting married soon (congratulations!), seemed to make an assumption about our relationship and was EXTREMELY rude to me. I saw her be very hospitable to other customers. My wife mentioned that she thought that the bartender didn't like either of us, However when I went to the restroom she was VERY sweet with my wife, which was nice of course, but showed that she held some sort of personal animus with me.

My guess is that, perhaps for personal reasons, she thought I was somehow abusive or otherwise inappropriate to my wife, who also agreed with my assessment. That is of course not the case.

I have nearly 20 years of food service experience, including multiple years of bartending both here in America and in Germany.

Perhaps our bartender and her assumptions would play well elsewhere, but I can't imagine any customer in either country that I've worked in appreciating her assumptions. Also her technique as well as the end result of her beer pour was absymal to say the least.

Next time we come to America, we will be back. The Plymouth has a fantastic history, an amazing vibe, and I have fond memories. However if I walk into the middle of that bartenders shift, I will...

I have many fond memories of Plymouth from college and was excited to show my girlfriend one of my favorite spots while I was in town! After we sat down we were treated with nothing but hostility. We asked for the draft menu and received a scoff and an eye roll along with some demanding attitude about seeing ID. When my girlfriend ordered a margarita the waitress mentioned that she would have to go to the kitchen and it would take twice as long, but not as a heads up that it might be a while but in a way that it is majorly inconvenient for the waitress. We also asked if we there were any specials, as I remember very good specials when I was in college. The feedback.. as you might expect by now.. was annoyance and rudeness. Our waters were slammed on the table. Having had enough we got up before she left with our drink orders and told her to cancel it as we were just going to head out. While we were leaving she brushed past us and said "nighty-nighty". I understand covid has put a large demand on the wait staff and can be very stressful, I try to be aware and careful of that. I do not feel like I asked for anything demanding when asking about: available drafts, if there were specials, and for a drink off the menu. I hope Plymouth is able to get back on track to the fun place I...
