Perry Square is one of the series of city squares planned by famed surveyor Andrew Ellicott in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. The park diverts the flow of 6th Street for two wooded city blocks bisected by State Street, which separates the city's eastern and western halves.

A nice park in downtown , is wheelchair Accesible has a nice fountain during the summer that is frequent place to take children to cool off ,has a bandstand stage area and is part of we love erie days and rib cook off . It is also home to monuments and memorials to our fallen be they in military service WW I,WW II, Korea, Vietnam, dessert storm dessert shield , Afghanistan and City and County Firefighters . The monument area is on the right hand side from state street if facing the Bayfront and in front of flagship food Hall.

As the downtown area tries to clean up a bit & rid nuisance visitors the area really is decent during the day. The fountain is always beautiful, more & more stores coming in & all in all the park is very safe. Always a great place to take the kids to run through the fountain on a hot summer day. Beautiful place to grab lunch & rest on a bench. Always enjoy reading a book on a nice day sitting on a park bench. It's a beautiful area & generally kept up nicely.

Both sides of the street look really nice with all the improvements they've made over the years. I enjoyed bringing my daughter here throughout the summer to cool down in the fountain. I also love checking out the Xmas lights during the holiday season, whoever decorates it does a wonderful job! Even though it's called a park, there isn't any swings, slides, grills, picnic tables, etc. There isn't a bathroom either as far as I know.

I love Perry square park it’s kinda of a social recreational hub at the heart of many events from erie days to rib fest , it is wheelchair Accesible has open WiFi has a very nice both fountain and water feature to cool off on hot days , it also has many monuments remembering and honoring veterans, city county firefighters LODD , even a monument to the average Joe worker that keeps things running .

It's a pretty public park. It's got a few simple sidewalks to stroll through the space. It's got two halves with features. One side has a stage for events and the other side has a fountain. The park benches make the space feel cosy, and the new design really feel like a town center. I especially loved the new Christmas tree lighting event!
