JC Power Audio Shop Escondido — Attraction in Escondido

Sadly many companies nowadays do not live up to their promises. This is not the case with JC Power Audio Shop Escondido CA. My wife hit a bump and lost sound from her radio. We were in the process of buying a new car. We called the dealer and explained we could not sell without a working radio. Even though we were buying a new car from them the earliest appointment was mid May and we knew they would take us over the coals. Under a recommendation from a friend we called JC Power and immediately knew these guys were professional.

They said it might be a fuse and if so it is quick and no charge. If more than that we needed to bring the car in and the service charge was $85. I explained while this was a factory unit that was upgraded to GPS I had the original.

It turn out not to be a fuse and my wife brought it in the following day. I asked if she wanted me to go with her and she said I am very comfortable with them they seem like pros and very trustworthy.

In the end the unit could not be fixed but using some the parts I bought in they converted the radio back to the original.

I have no doubt they spent several hours and I expected a bill for a couple of hundred dollars.

When my wife went in they only charged the original $85 saying we wish we could have gotten the other section working but since the car is ten years old parts are hard to come by.

They proudly stated; "We have been in business for 18 years, We are a family oriented company and specialize on Car audio, video, security, lighting and accessories for vehicles.

At the moment there is 3 of us at the office with me running the company, Julio and Noe as technicians and also my daughter as marketing specialist."

With the original back in the car and working we traded it in yesterday and my wife has a new car.

I honestly don't have the time patience or energy to write all my problems with the work, service, time frame agreed too communication skills when dealing with this shop (especially the owner) but here are some of my issues......it took months....yes literally MONTHS longer than agreed too...my camera which they installed has stopped working MULTIPLE times even after taking back....the aftermarket headlights they sold me and installed stopped working MULTIPLE times......they used the wrong terminals from the system to the battery...and my car kept dying and left me stranded....i had to personally replace them after I called and complained and he said after being reminded weeks before that "he forgot to order em" which I went to auto zone and fixed them in an hour with the RIGHT size terminals...he DRILLED HOLES in the gas tank of my old classic Cadillac...yes...im serious....i was wondering why it always smelled like gas....and after paying a mechanic to find the problem..it was determined HE DRILLED HOLES IN MY GAS TANK when attempting to install subwoofers in the trunk...smh...and this is seriously not even all of it......this was the SHORT version of my headaches in dealing with this idiot....save your money...or go somewhere who knows what they are doing and knows how to...

Update: Alberto and the boys have done it again. 🌟I moved away and took my wife’s car to get a system someone closer to where we moved. Terrible job, don’t take your cars to Car Audio One in CV. Immediately brought it up the JC’s. Not only was the turn around amazing- needing to order appropriate parts, but they fixed everything the previous shop did free of charge. I paid the labor and parts fee to upgrade her radio with the shop, that’s it. **To top this all off, the shop went out of their way to help me clean up oil and filled it up- when they discovered a major oil spill/leak from where the ford dealership did poor craftsmanship during routine mx the month before. I can’t express how much this shop deserves, the quality of work & just overall how much they care about you as a customer.
