So glad to have a record store in Escondido so that I don't have to go all the way out to Vista or Oceanside when I get the itch.
They definitely are focused on quality over quantity and have very nice originals and re-releases that are priced very fair. They have a small "gold" section for people who like to collect rares or special releases if that's your thing.
Their Rock, Funk\Soul section is very good quality and I had to restrain myself from spending too much money. Hip Hop and Rap section was pretty bare and generic. Curious if thats by design or if they just need to build up their stock.
Their oddball/others section was pretty fun to go through. Some one hit wonders, comedy albums, 12inch singles etc. Again, majority are of quality and didnt see any torn jackets or records that looked like they were road hard and put away wet.
One thing that gets this store 4 stars off the bat is their labeling. Stickers in the upper right corner with artist, genre and year. I wont name any other shops but I really dislike when I see a record without any clear title and have to go into detective mode to figure who...

Once home I cleaned the records with an inexpensive Spin Clean and then vacuumed everything dry. I just upgraded my turntable with an Ortofon 2M Black stylus. I was blown away by how good these records sounded. The 2M Black is known for picking up dust and any record imperfections. There were none. They sounded PERFECT, like new record(s) would sound. This turned out to be a great deal. Consider me a future return customer. If the rest of your inventory of used records are as nice as this one, there are many more treasures to find! Keep up the good work. See...
Read moreCool place, good selection from old school to brand new vinyl. Covers pretty much every major genre. Also really good bargin bins with stuff ranging from a 1$ to 8$. They got some collector pieces as well if you're looking to spend some cash, but monstly they got plenty of good stuff from lots of good artist for fair prices. They also have some good used turntables for sale if you're looking to pick one up. Its nice to see a record store in Escondido again. I chated with the one of the owners for a bit and she was really nice and excited to get the place going. Gonna be recommending this place to...
