I never write reviews, because who even has the time, but Deen at the Valley River Center GNC deserves a massive shoutout for the customer service I received today. It’s also worth noting that Deen would be the last person on planet earth to ever ask for a shoutout because he’s just there to do his job, so I’ll triple down on this shoutout because he did it without any expectation of acknowledgement. It’s a late Friday afternoon and this fella fielded more questions about random supplements than any one human should ever have to answer in a single lifetime, and this guy stuck with me for 45 minutes straight with a big grin on his face and kept me company until I walked out the door with 3-4 bottles of supplements that I’d have otherwise never bought unless someone was there to explain the products to me and make it feel like an easy process. Deen is an absolute legend and if GNC is a good company that values hourly workers who simply do their job, work hard, and treat people incredibly well, even when it’s 6pm on a Friday afternoon, they’ll do something really nice for this great kid. A bonus, lunch, an extra dollar or two an hour, whatever it is. Deen made my day and his manager was kind as well, although I didn’t catch her name but shoutout to you as well. Read moreI came it to get something and aske the employee if a new item has come in, he said he didn’t know when they would get it. I walked past the delivery stacks and the product was there. I asked if I could buy some and he said he hadn’t scanned it in and to come back the next day. So I came back the next day, today (10/14) and the product is still not on the shelves. However I ask if I can get the product. Same employee comes over, looks like he doesn’t see it, I point out and he with attitude says “I see it, I just have to get it!Jesus!” I then just wait nicely and check out where he only asks for my member phone number and nothing else. Read moreExtremely disappointed with GNC. I had an order that was processing (not shipped yet) that I needed to cancel and could not figure out how to do so on my own. I attempted to cancel through online chat and they said they were unable to cancel an order once it had been placed. I called customer service and they said the same thing. It is extremely poor customer service to not be able to cancel an order, especially when it is still processing and hasn't even shipped yet. I have no ill will to the representatives I spoke with as they were just relaying company policy. I have used GNC for a few years now, but I will consider sourcing supplements...
