I have been here several times... and am surprised I have not done a review. So here goes... The bbq pork baozi are delicious, and fresh. Past visits verify this. This visit, I ordered the fried chicken and rice plate, and an order of sesame balls. Fried chicken is yummy, tender and juicy. Rice is good, nice and sticky... easy to eat with chopsticks. The order includes a nice portion of pickled Daikon radish, and some made in house Kimchi... both of which are delicious. Very nice service over all... definitely a full meal. Sesame balls... smaller than I am used to, but very tasty. The red bean paste inside is yummy, although I think it needs a bit more paste than they have. Seems skimpy! But worth the price. Service is always awesome... the staff here are wonderful, if you need something, all you have to do is ask.

I wasn't expecting much from food-court bao, but they really knocked it out of the park. I ordered the golden fried bao, and it might just be the best bao I've had in town. It, visually looked amazing, and tasted just as great as it looked. I had a side of soup(can't remember what it was called) as opposed to rice, and the soup tasted great as well, distinctive greeny fresh flavor to it that paired well with the bao. I will definitely return to eat there again.

First time visiting Bao Ing Out in the food court at Valley River Mall and it was flavorful. We ordered the small meal option that comes with two sides. The Steamed Pork Bao was fresh and scrumptious. The Pickled Radish Salad had Daikon and Carrots in a refreshing sauce. The Hot and Sour Soup had a well-balanced flavor and was tasty. Korean Fusion Dim Sum is a great addition to the mall.

Incredible food, huge portions!

Ordered food to share, ended up with lots of leftovers! The "regular" portion is at least two meals worth of food.

Golden fried bun: got half pork, half beef. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Tiny bit of crisp on the outside, and perfectly soft inside. Delicious! This was served with their rice, which is a good portion and is topped with a sauce and pickled daikon. The rice was excellent and had a great chew. The sauce didn't overwhelm the rice and was a nice balance with the very flavorful buns.

Scallion pancake: SO GOOD. Seriously, this is the best scallion pancake I've ever had in my life. Run, don't walk, to get this dish. I ordered the pork filling, which again was very flavorful and excellent. The pancake had the perfect amount of crisp and had a great flavor on it's own. This dish alone was worth a trip, I'll be back for it! I chose the egg drop soup for the side, and it was a refreshing change from some other places that really phone in the soup. Instead, it was excellently flavored yet delicate, and the added scallions were a great complement.

One thing to note (and this is NOT a complaint!): the food is VERY hot (temperature-wise) when it is served - as hard as it will be, I recommend giving it a minute to cool down!

The service was excellent, and the worker who rang up my order was very kind and helpful.

This may seem minor, but one thing I really appreciate is the attention to detail in their packaging. They were happy to give me a bag to pack up my leftovers, and all of the boxes and cup of soup were perfectly sized to the bag - so perfect it couldn't be a coincidence. 2 regular boxes, a small box, a cup of soup, and silverware all perfectly fit, and despite being a paper cup, the lid for the soup cup was very secure. Some places just throw a plastic bag to you and then the boxes can get all wonky and spill, but they made the extra effort to ensure that leftovers or takeout would stay safe and properly upright on the ride home. Very appreciated!

Seriously, one of the best restaurants in Eugene, hands down....

This is a brand new restaurant in the food court at Valley River Mall in Eugene, Oregon. The staff was so courteous and explained several of the menu options that were low calorie for my calorie range. They told me which options were vegetarian and which options were deep-fried and high calorie intake. They gave me a free sample to show me how delicious a bao pork dumpling is. I’m definitely taking my husband back for the vegetable rolls, fried pork dumpling and steamed pork dumplings for me. The prices were extremely affordable. The staff was nice and friendly and offered lots of help to me. You can actually purchase any item they sell for one dollar separately. That way you can try a little of everything and not be stuck with six pieces of something you do not like. I love this feature about this restaurant. I like a lot of variety and to try things out. Definitely if you’re on the fence try the pork steamed dumpling if you’re watching your weight, and if not, the fried pork dumpling, I hear is even better! The only reason the atmosphere got three stars out of five is because you are in a mall food court. It was loud & very, very busy due to the holiday season. If this was a separate restaurant, it would’ve been five out of five stars in every...

⚠️UPDATE⚠️ I SEE THE REPLY FROM THE OWNER. GOOD TO KNOW YOU GIVE REFUNDS I WILL BE CALLING TOMORROW FOR A REFUND. ALSO TO CLARIFY WHEN WE PLACED OUR ORDER I HAD 18 MINUTES UNTIL MY UBER GOT THERE. I HAD TO CALL THE UBER BECUASE THEY WERE WAITING OUTSIDE FOR 3 ISH MINS SO THAT PUTS US AT 21-22 MINS WAITING FOR OUR FOOD SO YES ALMOST 30 MINS!! The chicken was cold and raw in the middle. Regardless of how long you fry it, pink, cold, raw chicken is concerning.

Just got home with our food I got the handmade noodles with fried chicken and a side of rice, my boyfriend got the golden fried bao half chicken, half beef. The noodles are a glorified top Ramen noodle and the "fried chicken" was cold and pink and raw. I took 2 bites and the rest is trash. The bao are okay. But for the prices nothing to rant and rave about or want to purchase again. I just read other reviews about meat being severely undercooked and raw. Really hoping I don't get food poisoning. Others also said they don't like giving refunds. Over $30 for food that is garbage. The "noodles sauce" is literally oil. Also took about 30 minutes to get our food....
