Was pretty excited to go to Six Flags St. Louis so I could ride a bunch of wooden coasters and some great steel ones. I found the weakest woodie to be American Thunder unfortunately. I heard from a lot of enthusiasts some mixed opinions. I definitely thought it was overrated and found myself preferring The Boss and Screamin' Eagle over this one. It's too smooth and doesn't really do that much. It doesn't go very fast and feels average compared to Prowler at the nearby Worlds of Fun. He made sure to load the trains completely (he got on the PA to announce open seats which is definitely not required of Six Flags operators).
