*** UPDATE*** June 10, 2021

Came back here again. Today was a Thursday, and my review is much better than the last one. Today was a great day at Six Flags. Most of the restaurants were open. The rides were open, with basically no wait at all. I think the longest we waited was for the next coaster to come back on a roller coasters. You basically just walked on all the rides.

We ate at Foul Ball in the park today. I had nachos, and they were every bit as tasty as they looked! They were pulled pork with cheese and sour cream. They also come with lettuce and jalapeños, but I don't like that so had them make it without.

My fiancée had the chicken fingers and fries. His was also very good. We didn't order at a good lunch hour, so when he ordered they told him that the fries were cold and they would make some hot fries just for him...without him even asking. They were very good and seasoned well too. There was also plenty of ice and drinks in the park, and not long lines for food either. Much cleaner than last time also.

We have been Season Pass ticket holders for years except 2020 because of Covid, and waited until today to purchase for 2021 because we didn't want to have to wear masks in the heat. (We are fully vaccinated). You DO NOT have to wear a mask anymore...its supposed to be if vaccinated, but nobody is wearing a mask, there is no social distancing, and there really isn't any sanitation between customers. The tables at the restaurants are disgusting. I had to ask for a wet rag to wipe the table down. We won't even talk about the bathroms.

Today, half the rides were shut down. Pretty much all of the roller coasters were down either all or most of the day, except for the small roller coasters, but Batman, Screaming Eagle, Boomerang and the main thrill roller coasters, Dragons Wing, as well as quite a few others were either down all or most of the day. Also, they were supposed to open a brand new ride in 2020 called Catwomans Whip and it is nowhere to even be seen. Plus Superman, which was one of the best rides has been completely decommissioned now, but is still standing.

Half of the restaurants were closed, and only 3 restaurants in the entire park were open, which made for almost an hour wait. They were supposed to stay open until the park closed, but everything closed an hour early except for the ice cream parlor and hamburger/chicken fingers place (I think it's called Collossus) right inside the front gate. They were the only one still open, and the line was absolutely insane., and at least 20 people waited at least 45 minutes and got turned away at the end because they stopped serving.

They were out of ice everywhere in the entire park. I'm diabetic and can't do sugar free soda because of the artificial sweetner, they had nothing sugar free anywhere, except warm water. You could buy cold bottled water for $6 a bottle.

They used to be open 10a-Midnight. Now they don't open till 10:30a and the latest they stay open is 9pm, but not that often. Make sure to check before you go. Most nights is 6p, 7p, or 8p. Even on weekends....and thats even summer hours.

Positives: The staff was working their butts off, but were all extremely professional and super friendly, and all had a smile on their face...even though I'm pretty positive they were extremely short staffed. The food that I did eat was very good. The lines for the rides were not terrible. The patrons were also surprisingly friendly as well. We did not encounter any rude people at all. They also had fireworks at the end of the night tonight, and I think they do on the occasional nights they stay open till 9pm.

We have never had these problems here before. As of today's date, they have season passes on sale for $49.99 each, which includes parking, which is normally $25 to park. And you can add a meal pass, which includes 1 meal and 1 snack every visit for $39.99 which each meal is at least $14 and each snack is at least $6....so if you go 1x all of that pays for itself.
