Batman: The Ride is an inverted roller coaster based on the DC Comics character Batman and found at seven Six Flags theme parks in the United States. Built by consulting engineers Bolliger & Mabillard, it rises to a height of between 100 and 105 feet (30 and 32 m) and reaches top speeds of 50 mph (80 km/h). The original roller coaster at Six Flags Great America was partially devised by the park's general manager Jim Wintrode. Batman: The Ride was the world's first inverted roller coaster when it opened in 1992,[4] and has since been awarded Coaster Landmark status by the American Coaster Enthusiasts. Clones of the ride exist at amusement parks around the world #Eureka #Missouri #sixflags #amusementpark #rollercoaster

The ride was amazing, but my boyfriend and I didn’t appreciate that you couldn’t put your backpack anywhere off to the side. We had gotten right up on the ride and I put our stuff (a backpack and fanny pack) off to the side and the workers immediately stated we could not have our belongings there. We were able to put the fanny pack on, but in order to be on the ride we either had to take the back pack to a locker and get back in the end of the line or we had to ask complete strangers to watch our backpack. Thank god we had some very trustworthy strangers who were willing to watch our stuff for us. I find it absolutely ridiculous that on every other ride there was a spot for us to place our belongings except this ride when there were places for drinks which absolutely had enough room for everyone’s belongings. They do not tell anyone there is not a place for their belongings (backpacks, bags, and so on) until after you’ve waited in line and begin to set it off to the side by the drinks. Every single time we saw a group go on we saw the ride being hindered by atleast five minutes for people trying to find someone to watch their stuff so they could enjoy the ride after waiting an hour...

I had been exited to ride the batman for the first time, and the experience leading up to the ride was great! But. I was barely tall enough to ride, and the head rest was too high; whenever I asked the employee about it, she said in the most condescending voice I had ever heard: "oh, you'll be fine!" (Spoiler, I was not.) Already feeling uncomfortable, I swallowed my fear and readied myself for what I thought was going to be a fun experience. The first part of the ride was ok, but then, I was hit with the worst GeForces I had ever felt in my life. I couldn't even see, I felt immense pressure on my back, and then, I get the wind knocked out of me, and my back feels like it's on fire. I try to scream but I can't, because the wind got knocked out of me. I look to the people next to me for help, but they can't hear me. This was the first loop. After what felt like an eternity of agony, I finally limped off the ride. I talked to other people about the batman, and they said: "that's just something that you get used to!" That was the first ride of the day. After that, I couldn't ride anything that i wanted to. Never riding the...

When I attended in summer of 2023 this was their smoothest coaster in the park! It's an impressive suspended coaster. There's a ton of acceleration (typically referred to as G's) on the ride, but not a lot of jerk (jerk occurs due to rapid changes in acceleration). Essentially this just means the ride is well built and has been maintained well. The ride operators were about middle of the pack compared to the other ride operators at Six Flags over Saint Louis, but they were among the lower tier of ride operators I've seen. They just moved really slow. They were always stacking a train in the station, which is unacceptable in almost every other park. Stacking isn't dangerous, but it's just a tell tale sign of slow ride operators. Part of slow operations comes down to the way park management has riding operations setup, so not all of the blame is on...
