Palace Theatre — Attraction in Eureka

I’m extremely disappointed with how I was treated at The Palace Theater during a recent magic show. I stepped out briefly to use the restroom—since the restrooms are located outside the theater—and when I tried to return just 5 minutes later, I was denied reentry because the show had already started.

What makes this situation unacceptable is that my two young children, a 4-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son, were still inside the theater without me. I explained this to the staff, but they still refused to let me back in. As a parent, this was incredibly distressing. My children were left alone in a dark, unfamiliar environment while I stood outside helpless.

Policies are important, but so is common sense and compassion. This is a serious safety concern that needs to be addressed immediately. No parent should ever be separated from their children in this way over something so minor. I truly hope The Palace Theater reconsiders how they handle situations like this in the future.
