Ninja — Attraction in Eureka

Ninja is average. I do agree with other enthusiasts on some points, such as the janky sidewinder after the vertical loop. But outside of that one moment the others are just slightly uncomfortable. That one moment honestly felt like the ride was trying to tear my head off, never felt that sensation on a coaster so. Hey that's a redeeming quality. But jokes aside the ride has a fun first drop and decently smooth corkscrews. Watching other people's on ride POVs online normally makes me roll my eyes. They complain during the entire ride which isn't consistently rough. It's like a trend or something to absolutely trash rides in some of these vlogs. I've been on much better rides than Ninja but I've also been on substantially worse ones. Ninja is mediocre but serviceable. Heck there's even a worse steel coaster just up the hill from Ninja. This is a fun coaster with several inversions and the only ride in the park with a corckscrew, but it's not for everyone. It's jerky and painful, and the negativity of your ride will likely depend on your height.

I grew up riding the ride, so I know from experience. These cars have over the head restraints, and if your head doesn't completely clear the sides of the restraint, you'll knock your head against it on the turns. I've been lucky, but many of my friends have come off the ride with hurt backs and necks. We aren't old. These injuries were picked up in our teens and 20s, lol

This is a standard, sit-down roller coaster and it is relatively close to the gate. The times I have visited the park, there is usually no wait to get on this ride. The line pathway is not long and is not extensively covered which makes getting on the ride fairly easy. Loading and unloading is done quickly and the ride is fun but also quick allowing you to hop off and get back in for another ride, if you want to.

Why did I take off a star? If you are not prepared for the ride, it can be rather rough. You will get jostled around and there are sections where your head may hit the restraints. It is not too bad, in my opinion, but I could see how it would be...
