Broadway Food Palace — Attraction in Fair Lawn

I shopped at this store since the day it was open. The food and quality was always great. Recently late 2023 multiple times the cold cuts were rotten, the worse part is it was cut it and covered with fresh layer on top. The Kani salad twice had to throw out the same day it was purchased same for liver past. The chicken kabob very salty impossible to eat became hit or miss, the bread was sold to me once it was hard as a brick. It is very upsetting to see the food be sold knowing it is past the expiration date. I live 20 min aways car ride - going back to return it would not make sense. Sorry I didn't go here but I did go to the market next door, which I absolutely love their produce and fruit and nut products. I used to live in that area in North Jersey, so we traveled up there today to get Polish food from the Golden Eagle on Lanza Dr. So we stopped over to this store which is next to the Russian speciality market, its like a farmers market. I love the food! Tastes great! Fresh cooked food never disappointed! Having said that, Remember to take a cart if your shopping and a number if your getting the delicous fresh made food at the counter. One thing is the staff is not very friendly. I'm american and everytime I go in the store I feel like Im not welcome. Maybe I would buy more food more often if I felt welcomed. I would accept a simple smile if they were able to.
