First time at George Mason University. We went to the NAIA Spring Powwow in Dewberry Hall at the Johnson Center. The Center was clean, and it was easy to find the pow wow. Parking at the garage nearby was convenient. We parked there for 6-7 hours and were charged $10 for parking there. The food court on the first floor was nice and had a lot of food options. Lots of restroom locations in the building. The powwow was on the ground floor. It was the most comfortable venue I experienced for a powwow. The Native American & Indigenous Alliance provided free meals and bottles of water during the powwow. Admission was free. They also gave free offerings of Native American Indian post cards. The music and performances at the powwow were very entertaining. I loved the camaraderie between the performers and spectators.

The outdoor campus is beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed our visit to George Mason...

This place is perfect whether you need a quick bite or a quiet spot to study. The second floor is equipped with plenty of tables where you can focus on projects with your friends. I'd suggest a higher floor for a more peaceful or quiet environment. Plus, there's a Starbucks on the main floor for a caffeine fix, and a variety of restaurants on the first floor to satisfy any craving. (You'll find that the food located here is vastly superior to anything that is located elsewhere or on the dining halls that the university provides)

For great food, I highly recommend trying Akeno Sushi on the first floor. Their food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, making it a win-win choice. Try their poke bowls! Watch your steps on the stairs, don't walk with your shoes untied or you'll be in for a treat.

TLDR: Best foor you will find on campus, decent place to study, amazing place to meet...

Great spot for a quick bite, or even studying! There are tons of cubicles on the 2nd floor to do whatever you want without anybody bothering you. Plus, the general floor has starbucks in case you need some caffeine and the 2nd floor has tons of restaurants to choose from.

I would recommend checking out the halal guys on the 2nd floor. Their food tastes spectacular and for a decent price as well.

Edit: they have recently renovated the 2nd floor and removed a majority of the cubicles in the more populated...
