My husband and I purchased expensive floor tickets for the bert kreischer comedy tickets because we are HUGE fans. Within moments of taking our seats, we became aware that the woman sitting next to us was what seemed to be beligerantly drunk along with her friend behind us and were intentionally screaming loudly to irritate the woman in front of us who they kept flicking off and insulting, bullying her and talking loudly over the set and fake heckling so loud you couldn't hear the openers or bert. The couple sitting on the other side of us were frustrated and miserable and the row in front of us were angry and frustrated. Several tried to ask her to stop but it only made her become louder. After trying to ignore it for 20 minutes, I asked if she would mind bringing the screaming down and she became irate calling me names, insulting me and saying that I must be autistic. My husband politely asked her to stop and she continued. The woman in front of us turned around immediately and expressed her frustrations that she paid alot of money for the tickets and that she had been dealing with this for 2 hours. After she only continued to escalate, we stood up only 10 minutes into Bert's actual set (before it was openers) , and found a security guard and asked if it would be possible to switch seats to anywhere (since we were in the front almost all seats were significantly worse than the ones we paid for but we felt it was better than staying next to the woman). After much frustration they found us bleacher seats in the back that ended up actually being broken, and never bothered to go ask the woman to stop so the remaining people int he seats near ours could enjoy the show. With the whole frustration of the night and being extremely upset from the event, we left the show early and enjoyed none of it. We paid $406 per seat to see him. I'm so frustrated that we paid over $800 for tickets and got to enjoy none of it and not one employee there did anything about it. I wouldn't even know how to begin going upon asking for eve. A partial refund or replacement tickets to his next show there since it's such a large arena.
A couple years ago we saw bert at constitution hall in DC and it was...
Read moreHave VIP tickets for Sessanta 2.0 for this location, and entrance was supposed to be at 5:30, as per the email sent out - which I had to contact Ticketmaster about not receiving on time. We were in the first 10 to arrive, and there was no information as to where lines were to form and just told "move back," "over there," organization was non-existent, and many swaps to lines that were needless because no one told us where VIP versus GA were supposed to line up. I watched an employee try to let in GA before VIP members, and tell them they "didn't know," wasn't even begun to check in at proper time - was a ½ hour late, the staff were rude, there was only 1 pre-show table we could buy merch from though others had different items and we were promised pre-show shopping and what was made to seem like total access early to all vendors, no re-entry to be able to stow our new purchases to prevent damage from carrying around, no VIP escort to be found, there were no signs to tell you how long to wait in the lobby before you could go in to be seated - the staff were still clueless, we had to pour our drinks in paper cups with lids into another plastic cup without a lid - though signs only said bottles and cans would need to be transferred. Someone needs to get a better handle on how to direct events and promises made. Primus, Puscifer, and A perfect Circle were phenomenal, but this venue needs to get their act together. We won't be back for another "VIP," or any...
Read moreI've had a horrendous experience with EagleBank staff. I volunteered at the Trunk or Treat event at Lot L in October and a basketball game was later scheduled for the same day. The staff did not allow the student staff or any staff/volunteers to use the restrooms, forcing them to walk all the way to the JC. In addition, they were extremely rude, curt, and dismissive to the student staff even when escorted by adult staff. In November I was scheduled to assist students to EagleBank for a game. It was my fault I missed the water bottle rule, but they do not allow metal water bottles. This is ridiculous because I'm trying to tone down my plastic use and risks of microplastics and I know I'm not the only one. Many people now own Owalas for example. Plus, the bottle must be clear and empty. I was suggested by a staff member to "put my water bottle in the woods like many people do and then go back for it after the event is over or pay $5 for a locker around the corner". She legitimately suggested to me that I go traversing into the woods to hide my contraband (oh so scary) water bottle. I was aghast. I never found those "$5 lockers" that she never explained and by that point I was too upset to ask somebody so I gave up on volunteering that night. I will now never attend a GMU basketball game. I can't believe the numerous ridiculous little rules just to attend a school...
