Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

This place overall...was one of the worst Chipotle chains on the Eastern Seaboard. Not for the food, but the customer service.

To start off, there was a particular employee that displayed rather racist behaviors. She would be very stingy with the amount of food she added to my order and had a bad attitude in general. However, when she served the "normals" there, she would brighten up and serve larger proportions. She just acted rather rude to me and my friend when we went there to grab a quick lunch.

Unfortunately, that was the first time I ate there and first impressions really set the standard, tone and feel to the restaurant. The second time I went there, a different employee was at the counter and treated all of the customers politely and well.

Overall, this was a pretty rough experience. The customer service was terrible and I felt like there were hints of unprofessional behavior when there shouldn't be any. I recognize that there were other employees that were polite and the food was good, but that first experience left a bad taste...

Worst Customer service ever!

I used app to order the burrito bowl. It was supposed to be ready by 6:30pm. When I got there, it was not there.

I tried to ask employees by saying “excuse me”. Employees looked at me then just looked away without response. Simple polite response of saying “how may I be help you” would have been suffice. After ignoring me several times, one employee just said “in two minutes” I waited until 6:50 for my order.

I understand that employees can be busy, but politeness is another matter. Chipotle needs to educate employees on how to respond customers better.

After I got the order, I found that the white rice was not properly prepared. Rice was sticky and with no flavor. Some portions were stick together in forms of balls.

This is not how the store should serve students at GMU. Very disappointed, and I will never go to that branch in...

I am a senior at Mason and have been going to this Chipotle for ~4 years. The food is great and comparable to other Chipotle locations but the portions are absolutely not. This Chipotle ALWAYS skimps on the portions. The bowls are never filled to the sides and the burritos are usually just a bit larger then something you'd get at a Taco Bell. I love the Chipotle taste so I still dine here, but every time I feel like I've wasted my money. If management reads this please talk to your staff about proper portioning. I myself work at a food franchise and know that every menu item has a specific portion of ingredients it is supposed to get, this Chipotle is not hitting those amounts. This location has a notorious reputation around campus for skimping, which is a shame because the food is great. Fix this issue and I am sure your customer count...
