We brought a group of 11 children ages 2 months-14 years and 6 adults for a family outing. We went on a Monday and spent about 4 hours at the facility.
Areas that need improvement:
The area where the younger kids play is right by the front door, with a slide the comes out directly in front of the entrance...and the entrance has AUTOMATIC doors. Meaning that the parents had to be very diligent to ensure that the 1-2 year old children sliding out of the slide didn't walk out the front door into traffic when the door literally opens right up for them. đ
I also prefer taking kids places that use some type of hand stamp method/numbered wristband to ensure that all kids leave with the adults they come in with. There was no such safety measure in place, and the layout of the facility is very boxy/closed off so it's impossible to see different kids in different activities at the same time, so if you bring multiple kids of different ages you may just find yourself running around doing head counts the entire time making sure everyone is still in the building.
The labels of what is included at each ticket level aren't clear and only a couple of places is it actually enforced. In our case, we had paid for a 5 and under ticket for a 5 year old who was tall enough to climb and rappel off of various structures. They let her climb in that area 3 different times before finally telling us the 4th time she came that it wasn't included in her ticket. With only 20 minutes left on our time, they wouldn't make an exception or apologize for the confusion...they said we'd have to pay $10 to upgrade her ticket for the last few minutes.
A color coding system or some type of simple labeling would make it much clearer for the kids to figure out what they are and aren't allowed to do without causing issues.
The $3 socks fit poorly - the size XL isn't proportional and is too tight on ankles - and are very low quality. I doubt they'll survive another trip there. Strings were pulling and unraveling while we were there.
It was not cheap. I would not pay those prices for a 2 hour time limit, or for a birthday party. It was only worth the price because we came on a day with no time restraints. One adult, 2 kids and 3 pairs of socks was about $65.
Things that we liked:
Most of the staff members were friendly, and those working the zip line were especially patient with our first timers.
All the kids had fun. There was something for all ages and stayed busy the entire time.
Music was family friendly and a perfect volume to enjoy without being over-powering.
Food was good and decently priced. They gave out free cups of water.
Overall everything seemed clean and well maintained. All the harnesses and equipment were in good condition and bathrooms were well stocked
There were plenty of ramps, tables and seating for...

I suggest when guest come for a party the front desk ask if waiver have been signed so that parents aren't walking back and forth. Also my party host was boring and not super attentive. I have had parties at other places and the host were very verbal and lively and attentive. I did not feel like my son was an honored guest. His shirt was also given to us as a afterthought. For the amount of money spent I was completely unhappy with the lack of drink inclusion and I felt as if I was being asked to pay for every little thing while there. I suggest including a certain number of soda pitchers with parties and pizza. ALSO water should be included and refillable. Receiving exactly 10 water bottles is a bit ridiculous for the price. I also was unhappy with the manager working on 8/14/2021 around 6pm. We decided to stay longer after our room time and I purchased an icee for my 3 year old nephew. Realizing I just spent almost $400 with urban air I had to split the icee with my 4 year old son, the birthday boy. We asked for a extra cup and received a lot of hesitation from the cashier. I knew immediately she did not want to give us the cup. The whole time this is happening the manager is standing with her back to us only addressing the cashier in a whisper. We are informed that if we want another Styrofoam cup we will have to pay for it. I'm annoyed at this point because I have spent $400 and another $4 for an icee and I can't get a cup. I have stated that we had a party today where I spent $400 and that clearly meant nothing to anyone there. I had to physically say manager several times to get her to turn around. When she finally did, she seemed annoyed with me. I asked her can we just have 1 of the tiny clear cups for water for my son. She states it'll cost you 25 cents. I say cmon I just spent $400 on a party here and the host brought us some of those cups earlier for free so what's the difference. Finally, after a total of 10 minutes of unnecessary back and forth the manager says I'll give it to you this time but next time you'll have to pay. I will not be coming back to urban air. I would've been more satisfied if I just paid for all the kids to get in. The party...
