The restaurant is clean, the bathroom was clean, the beverage bar area was out of the regular sized straws, the lemons were nearly empty and someone left their old lemons on the self serve coke freestyle soda tray.
I even saw an employee semi-refill, but not everything and left a mess. Including the lemons & limes.
I had Firehouse Pairs - Firehouse "Hero" Sub small with a Mac n Cheese, with a sweet tea... My sister had a Firehouse Pairs as well as I. She had the Firehouse Meatball with a side of chili 🌶. She had herself a diet cherry 🍒 vanilla Dr. Pepper.
My Mac 'n cheese was rather soupy and you do not receive anything close to what they show online or in their app. Mine was only 2/3rd filled if that! And it was lukewarm to a cold finish.
My hot sandwich was only lukewarm in certain areas not the entire sandwich... The remaining was COLD!
Though their sweet tea is quite excellent. I don't know much about their app, but I was supposed to get a freebie with it that I never received... And to top it off they only gave me 2 weeks to take advantage of my "birthday freebie" it should last like 6 months to use. Your competitor, Jersey Mike's last a whole year from your birthday.

Read moreThis was my first time at Firehouse Subs, so I went with the Firehouse Hero with no onions. The sub was pretty average and definitely didnt wow me. At a time when there are sub shops on every corner, I think too many sub shops play it too safe with their offerings. Maybe it's the fact that we are in the midwest where conservative and traditional always win. The only sub shop i feel had excellent, unique subs was Quizno's; and look at what's happened to their franchise. Maybe it's me, then. Maybe I'm the outlier in a land of straight-line-conservative with bland-repetitive-everything.
Soap box aside, it was a reasonably priced sub with different meats that created a bland, meaty mouthful of underwhelming flavor.
My town doesnt have a Firehouse Subs because every corner already has a franchise making standard sandwiches; all from the same menu. Plus when you can make the sandwich at home for cheaper,...
Read moreI don't have transportation at this time, so it's difficult for me to go anywhere that is not within walking distance or delivery area. There was a delivery or Donation made of these subs to where I live, downtown Hamilton. All I can say is Wow!! I have been missing out of some of the best subs I have ever had. I had the Tuna. Each sub donation/delivery were in a box..different kinds..Ham, Tuna Fish, Turkey. They included a delicious cookie, pickle and chips. I had the Tuna. It was so good. I hope I can get transportation soon, so I can come here, or I may see if "Door Dash" delivers, as we are a bit far from the location. The other residents said they were impressed, and gave them high praise for...
