I tried to complain about this Culver’s service in the correct way before making this public as a Google review and was contacted by Kim Bailey, who said she was going to correct the terrible service we received by sending coupons to regain our trust, but she never followed through. So this is what happened- my husband, myself, my mother and sister went in for meals in June and sat and waited for our food for a very long time. When the server came to our table she only brought a few of our orders and those were even wrong. When the rest of us still didn’t receive our orders, after waiting for quite a while, I went up to the front to check on our orders and they said it would be a few minutes, I said, ok and went back to sit down. The total wait time was over 40 minutes from the time we sat down at our table and finally received all of the orders, which only one of the four orders was even correct. I truly would understand a longer wait than usual if they had been very busy, but they weren’t. Besides the four of us, there were only approximately 6-8 other people in the entire restaurant and only a few cars in the drive-thru so I know that the overly extended waiting time was not due to too many customers. As much as I used to enjoy Culver’s food, I won’t be returning and I do hope that other’s see this review and think twice about going. Read moreDrove thru today for a large lemon ice cooler with fruit. Girl in drive thru was super courteous, no problem there. She hands me a small so I told her this was the wrong size. She apologized & handed me a number to move up to a space & wait for it to brought out. I sit & sit watching car after car leave with bags of food. I get out, go in & asked why am I still waiting for a drink to be remade when cars of food are pulling away. I get ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE! Just stared at as if Im wrong to inquire.The guy in back who was suppose to remake it overheard me say it & proceeded to make my drink ever so slowly. So, I ask the ladies up front if there was a manager I could speak with because at this point, this is ridiculous! They look at me, SAY NOTHING, the manager is in back putting orders up in the window, can tell he heard me but chose to ignore my request as he kept working & no one acknowledged me as a customer with a valid complaint! So finally, the guy sits my cooler on the counter, HE SAID NOTHING & WALKED AWAY! Read moreSo today is officially my last time soliciting this Culver's. I have tried to be patient and understanding but the quality and quantity of the ice cream is diminishing to where I can no longer justify giving them my money.
I should have taken a picture but the size of a one scoop of ice cream is insulting. It is definitely less than what regular ice cream scooper. Not to mention the flavor of the day is turtle. Unfortunately, I had a few and I mean 3 pieces of chocolate chunks and maybe 3-4 pecans throughout the entire, what they called a scoop of ice cream.
I'm not sure what had happened over the years... Maybe ice cream and supplies cost more, maybe increase in labor or the owners just want more money in their pockets. But at some point you have to still provide your customers with a level of quality. I'm a restaurant owner myself and I'm not willing to compromise my product for any reason. If I have to do that then I would rather go out of business. I guess the difference is Culver is a big chain and could give a care if one person such as myself complains.
