0 stars! Walked in for my first time with a gift card from christmas & both clients up front were complaining! To my left, two girls drying their nails were whispering about how the tech did their nails, sounding unsatisfied & to my right a lady was complaining about how long they were taking to get back to finish her nails since they got up in the middle of doing them & hadn't come back for awhile. Like why are you running the front of the business while you have a client waiting on you in the middle of you doing her nails AND you have employees just standing around!? Then all three ladies, upfront & unsatisfied, proceeded to tell me that another lady had just walked out because of the poor service she felt she received! I didn't even want to stay but no money back for gift card purchases. So when I proceeded to tell the tech what my girls & I wanted she didn't even understand me. I had to repeatedly tell her a few times, then finally SHOW her what I wanted for her to understand!? She was clearly the one in charge too!? Greeting people as they walked in, asking them what they needed, handling money & paperwork, all while, not only a couple but a few employees just stood around eating & talking!? (Not while they worked either, literally just standing there!?) One of the female employees (not the one that seemed to be in charge but the only other female there) made me feel very uncomfortable & was rude. I was sitting in the chair next to my daughter as she got her nails done (as it is posted in the store all children must be accompanied by an adult AND the male tech doing her nails told me to sit there) and accidentally moved my chair over one of their outlets. It must have messed with the nail tool this lady tech was using at the time because she turned around in a very rude manor telling me I needed to move!? Like what!? It was an accident! Not to mention I WAS TOLD TO SIT HERE!? Was not impressed wit customer service AT ALL! I couldn't wait for my girls to get their nails done & leave! I never would have stayed if it hadn't been for my girls having their hearts set on getting them done & having gift cards with no way of getting our money back. Read moreMy granddaughter & her friend went to the Princeton Road L& T salon today to each get a set of full acrylic nails for $30 something. While there the employees & the manager are talking about you in their own language. You would have to be below dumb not to know they are talking & laughing about you. When they went to pay they were each charged $50. My granddaughter questioned the bill & the manager who is just so rude & arrogant started to talk extremely loud in her own language to call attention to what my granddaughter was asking. My granddaughter asked for a receipt & manager said I gave to other girl ..meaning friend that had come with my granddaughter. The friend replied you did not give me a receipt. Manager then said...oh you paid in cash...I will get for you. She then printed receipt which just shows $50. Nothing to show what other charges were to make a charge of $50. Manager then tells my granddaughter that there is charge for CovId-19......!!!!! There was no sign posted to let patrons know about this...& it's NOT listed on the receipt. I feel she took advantage of my granddaughter & her friend because they are young .. 17 yrs old. She made charges that she could not justify & that is why the receipt does not show charges for other things she says they supposedly did.. I feel the receipt should clearly show Covid-19 fee. Exactly how much did this manager charge??? for Covid-19 or did you just pocket that extra money? Also did you add your own Tip???? My granddaughter said she did tip nail lady $10. I had a long talk with my granddaughter about this & told her she should not have paid right then..but should have called for police so they could find out exactly what the BIG increase in price was about...then pay. It always looks so good to have Police in your business. Also I advised my granddaughter we do NOT support any business making Covid-19 charge. Read moreMy friend and I decided to go get pedicures today since I had a gift card that supposedly had $80 on it. I decided to do a basic pedi and dip on my fingers. Well they told us to pick a scent for the scrub during our pedicures and didn’t tell us that was an extra $15. I go on to get my dip done which took a good hour while my friend sits with me. There is another customer very unhappy with her nails and they refuse to fix them for her, so she left very unhappy. When we go to pay we find out the pedi ended up being $45 rather than $30, but we don’t argue and pay it anyway. After adding in my dip and tax it was $106. I say this card has $80 and I’ll put the rest on the my credit card. The lady (I’m assuming the manager) comes back saying the gift card had zero and with a receipt for when it was bought saying it only had $35. I show her the website that showed $80 and she just kept yelling “that the old, we have new, I would not lie to you” and kept repeating the price and saying I owe $106. My friend jumps in saying they need to honor what the website shows. The lady says “you ask him, his bank show $80 I give you $80, it show $35 I give you $35” I kept fighting it but she just kept saying the same thing and rolling her eyes. I got fed up with her and said just pay for it I’m done dealing with this. She decided to take $35 off but I still had to pay $71 as opposed to the $26 I should have. THEN I get home and my toes are already messed up!!! I was literally sitting in a chair for a good hour while he did the dip so it would have been totally dry by the time I put my sandals on. There is no polish on my shoe or anything, and I can literally push the polish around on my toes. The top coat on my dip is also way past one of my nails on the side and headed to my skin.
