I recently visited store # 241. I was searching for a certain flower for a wedding I am working on. My husband called to see if this location had the flower in stock. He provided the woman on the phone the item description and the item number. The woman told him that they had 17 in stock. He requested that they put them on hold for them and they stated they would. I headed there and went to the front check out with exchanges and refunds. Here is when the normal friendly service I receive from Hobby Lobby went down hill. I was greeted by Tami. She was very impolite when I explained what I was there for. After several minutes of explaining what was supposed to be on hold for me she finally sent me back to the fabric department. I stopped by the floral department and found ONE stem. I patiently waited for Janet to finish helping a man with some fabric. But when she finished, she started to talk to a coworker, turned and walked away from me, then started working on ribbons. I walked up to her and asked for help multiple times and she COMPLETELY IGNORED ME. It wasn't until I walked away that she looked up at me, but by that time I had found who my husband had spoke to on the phone. She informed me that there was a problem with what we called about. She looked at the wrong item, despite the fact when she was provided and then confirmed to my husband, telling him the item number matched exactly . What frustrates me most about this whole situation is that I drove 30 minutes out of the way after being told the wrong information by Hobby Lobby employee. Beyond that, I can accept the not so friendly "help" from Tami, but the absolutely unacceptable rude behavior from Janet I can not. I have shopped at hobby lobby so much it has become a joke with my family that I spend more time there than I do my own home. I asked the cashier if I could set aside my items with my name on them and come back for them tomorrow when the power was back on both he and I were under the impression that this was fine. When I got there I told the cashier about the previous day and was informed that they were told by the manager to put all of my items back. I was frustrated but was willing to Store. However much to my dismay, when I went to find the items they had been sold. There was only one of each thing where I needed multiples. I confronted the manager in which she just apologized. I understand that there might be protocol to put items back at the end of the night however with this very specific unique situation I was expecting to have my items available when I arrived. Please let your manager know, to at least tell the clients or the customer that their items will not be there by the end of the night so that they do not waste their time. ย ย ย Read moreI have a love/hate relationship with Hobby Lobby. I love all the amazing stuff they have, but I hate how much money I always spend. They have any kind of thing you could ever want and more- wedding decorations, science kits, stickers, frames, candles, beads, pillows, pictures and signs, candy, art supplies, you name it! I even found a giant button when I went. How cool is that? The store and bathrooms are very nice and clean. I can only think of three downsides- the staff isn't always nice, the receipts are very vague, and the prices are pretty high. I've only encountered a few nice employees and I believe they were all managers. I always go there for Perler and jewelry making products, and the receipt will say "craft item" and "jewelry." Remember that giant button I was talking about? More than twenty dollars for it. I saw one that was broken and I believe it was still thirteen dollars. Overall, if you're looking for crafts, the only other place to go is Michael's and it's not much better, so this is a decent...
