Nice park with a small park next to and a part of ( I think) Fairhope Municipal Pier. It has a very small beach, but if you want a larger, longer beach with restrooms, BBQ’s, and a playground, Fairhope Municipal Beach is a very short walk on the opposite end of Fairhope Municipal Pier. Knollwood Park is also up the hill, also a very short walk. This park is very attractive, right on the water, has benches facing Mobile Bay so you can sit and take in the view. Birdhouses are nearby, on poles mounted in concrete in the water, you can sit and watch the water, squirrels, birds. Parking is located at the municipal pier. I am not sure of the hours, I think it is open Sunrise to Sunset. I saw lots of other people with their leashed dogs on a walk, people meeting in groups to walk...

Fishermen leaving half catfish everywhere at both beaches, and a very large hook hidden in the sand. But I sliced my toe open on a huge half rusted metal pipe that is invisible and in about 2 feet of water. I tried to pull out our but it was to large for me to budge.
