Another Broken Egg is such a great restaurant, but today, my lady and I were let down. After being seated, we waited 25 minutes to have our drink orders taken. All the while, several couples were seated near us and after us, but some how a waitress was there to take their order in under 5 minutes of them being seated. It took me having to approach the hostesses to make them aware of the issue of how everyone else is being served and we're not. Shortly after, a waitress magically appears to take our drink and food order, but by this time, people who were seated near us had their food brought out. Now, here's the kicker. While eating our food, an unwanted visitor (a roach, pest, whatever) just casually walks across the wall like it's been doing this for a while now. After eating, I explained to the manager our bad experience with the wait time and the pest, and all he said was, "Sorry about that. I'll talk to my people about it."

First time was a dissapointment, however, we decided to give it another shot & this will be the last time. Disclaimer, there is plenty of menu options. My husband ordered the crabcake benedict; both eggs were OVERdone, the english muffins were chewy & tough (hard to even take a bite or cut with a knife). I ordered the spinach scrambler which was ok but the sides I had upgraded to weren’t there, it eventually got fixed (as it was busy & took some time for them to bring the correct ones to us). The food did arrive promptly & our server was adequate. The worst thing of all, is that this is a very popular restaurant Downtown Fairhope, people wait for hours to get a table. So for them to charge $50 for a table of 2 is outrageous! The product received is subpar (both times), and just overall dissapointing. Next time, I rather take a $50 dollar bill & light it on fire, it will save us the trip and dissapointment.

We drove an hour to get here and were afraid of a long wait time but thankfully they allow you to join a waitlist ahead of time. So my maps told me when we would show up and I gave that as our arrival time. We got there 5 minutes early and were at a table in 3 minutes. Our waiter Jaylin, was an absolute delight and very helpful. I ordered a traditional mimosa and my mom ordered the lemon blueberry mimosa. Both were amazing! This ain't some Korbel champage, it's quality and so smooooth. This isn't just throw it in a cup mimosa, this is some mixologist magic! The menu has a ton of wonderful things but I'm a sucker for a good traditional eggs benedict and it was great, the eggs couldn't have been more perfect. My mom got the hey lucy omelet and loved it! the country potatoes are fine but nothing to really brag about - but everything else was!

The food quality was good but the service and attitude did not meet my expectations. It began when we were told that a table was not available and we could not wait inside even though we were wearing facemasks. We would have to wait outside until called. We sat down at an outside table that had not been cleared until we were told that we could not sit there either unless we chose to eat outside which we decided to do. We then ordered three pancakes to share between the two of us and were informed that eggs and a meat were included in the price. My friend ordered a bowl of grits on the side. When the food arrived I noticed that there were only two pancakes and one plate when we has ordered 3 to share. When I informed the server that we were shorted one pancake she said the menu said only two and did we want her to bring us the menu. I told her in one place the menu does shows 3 and I don't want to see it--I just want my extra pancake! When the silverware came one set did not look clean so we shared the clean one. When the extra pancake finally arrived it was half the size of the other two and the server offered that when you order three they are smaller than when you get two. The final insult occurred when the check came and the total was $35. I noticed that there was a $12 charge for ham although that was supposed to be included in the price of the pancake breakfast. I brought this to the attention of the cashier and the extra charge was removed. There was no acknowledgment of a mistake or apology for the overcharge or that the menu is confusing. I must say that Another Broken Egg is aptly named because it is broken and I will never go...

Took my wife out for some breakfast for her birthday here. Waitress was nice and we ordered our food. Everything was fine until we got our food. My wife noticed a long black hair in her huevos rancheros so she told the Waitress and she said she would fix it. My wife told her she didn't want it any more due to her stomach being upset from seeing the hair. And to be honest, it upset mine knowing the fact that they let that slide in the kitchen, who knows what else was in the food. So I told her we would just pay for the coffees. She said since nothing was wrong with my food she would have to ask the manager. So he comes out and I told him the situation and with and attitude pretty much tried to belittle me in repeating what I said and while walking away started shaking his head. So I said out loud he could shake his head all he wants. He turns around and asks me to repeat what I had said so I repeated it. It seemed like he was trying to intimidate me by staring at me. He walks off into the kitchen. For being an ASSISTANT manager he could do better with people skills. Later the waitress comes with the check and we pay for the coffee's, $9.79. Is it me or has the prices of coffee at restaurants gotten out of hand? I get it that there are free refills but damn. Also, they burned the hell out of the little potatos. Looked like little pieces of charcoal. Just be aware when you go here that you look over your food. And God forbid you find something wrong with it as they will try to get you to pay...

We chose this place cause we saw alot of 4 and 5 star reviews and we saw online that people said we could bring our dog.

We brought our dog and were promptly seated. We ordered the cinnamon roll french toast, the regular french toast and a side of the Belgium waffles.

We asked for some water for our dog and never got any. I had to empty my water into a portable doggy bowl we had brought with us.

Our server checked on us once. In the 45-60 min we were hear our server took our order, and then checked on us only after we had finished and we're waiting for the bill. Plus, I had to flag down 3 waiters to get a refill of my water. Then when our server came back after we had finished I had to ask again for water to get a second glass.

The food was only ok. It wasn't great, the sausage patties we got were just ok. The bacon and eggs were just ok. The french toast and cinnamon toast was just ok. Which wouldn't be a problem.... If the price of a single dish wasn't stupidly high. In fairness, you do get a lot of food with your order. Enough so that even 3 people would have had trouble finishing a single order of french toast.

All in all it was just ok food, sub par service, and outrageous prices. This is a tourist trap and I recommend ordering a single entree if it's only...
