I went here to get a haircut because my birthday was coming up and I was starting a new job. She cut my hair two inches shorter than I had asked, I think because I said I had wanted MOST OF the red gone she thought to ignore the length I had said I wanted. She just started with big chops to my bangs and than the back of my head. If I gave an honest review of everything that went wrong and how unprofessional this woman was this review would take 10 minutes to read. I literally had to wait for her to cut her dogs hair, than proceed to walk over to me without washing her hands. When I was trying to tell her what I wanted because she was not doing that and had allready done big chops and cut my hair too short, she was extremely rude. You give the customer the haircut they want. It doesn't matter if YOU believe you gave me good haircut. It could be the best haircut in the world but it is not what I asked for. I cannot count on two sets of hands the amount of times this girl said "I know I gave you a good haircut." When I wasn't even being rude nor combative. So much to the point I let her give me this horrible choppy cut. She also said multiple times " you'll love it in a week". Who comes to get a haircut to like it next week? I wanted to look and feel beautiful right then and there. I said I wanted to see what the haircut looked like before she styled it and she goes "we can wait 4 hours for your hair to dry if you want"?!?! Like girl are you kidding me? I just wanted to see what it looked like because I could tell it was extremely chopped and uneven and didn't think the haircut was even kind of done when she started styling. I asked for maybe for face rounding and to even the layers to make them flow. She didnt touch the hair around my face she had allready cut all wrong and barellyyyyyy cut the tiniest cuts on the very end of a couple hairs. I felt extremely uncomfortable to tell her what I wanted because it was just basically ignored. Then again before i thought the haircut was done and i was clearly upset, but had stopped trying because I was scared she's just make it worse, she just took the hair cover off me and sent me to pay. No styling at all.. I said I don't use heat on my hair and I want it to look good without heat , in my day to day life, and then she kept just saying "oh just a little heat" and talking about that when I said that's not what I wanted. Then proceeded to not style my hair im guessing because she misunderstood what I means about the heat or just didn't want to. But than I was charged for a "cut and style". Still left a 16 dollar tip, in which she honestly did not deserve. I than finally decided I'd stand up for myself and asked for a refund on the style, in which she repeatedly said the "i know I gave her a good haircut" and said the style is COMPLEMENTARY? In the 80 something dollars she charges for a haircut. I did receive a call a couple of hours later, and I did receive a refund for the styling. I'm guessing because the way she was acting got back to her sister who owns it or something. I spent over a year growing out all of the hair she cut off. you want the most basic long hair wavy cut, she's for you, ask for anything else you'll come out looking chopped. Like girl you give me a shitty karen cut im giving you shitty karen review. I feel really bad for the girl learning from her. I hope she find a better teacher. I JUST HAVE TO SAY CODY IS MY LIFESAVER. MY SHINNING STAR!

I am new to Fairhope and desperately needed to find a stylist bc the grey was showing….BAD. The person I initially went to, turned my hair YELLOW and BRASSY. Nothing even close to the picture I showed her of what my hair looks like, minus the grey. I called ColorVous the next day desperately needing an appointment. They were so kind and understanding of my situation and were able to get me in almost immediately with Cody. I was almost instantly relieved when she said his name! Then, she called back and asked if I could send pictures. Cody called me personally to let me know everything was going to be ok and that he has seen way worse.

I was so nervous walking into this beautiful salon with this yellow tacky hair. Completely anxious and nervous. The moment I arrived Cody was so welcoming and reassuring. Jennifer came and introduced herself and was such a sweetheart. The whole vibe of the salon was upbeat and positive. I did not get everyone’s names but I encountered so many sweet faces.
