Once Upon A Child - Fairview Heights, IL — Attraction in Fairview Heights

I don’t mind shopping here when they have a sale but other than that I probably won’t be back to sell any items or shop. They resell some items with stains. They offer bottom dollar for clothes they’re going to sell for 6x the price. You end up getting about .20 a piece (maybe) for your items whether you have matching 2 piece sets or items with tags. An itemized receipt of what you take for what price would be nice. You provide it to customers for the things you sell so why not for the things you buy? Oh probably because you’re taking $100+ worth of clothes and giving $14 for it, LOL. And lastly, it’s rude to just throw things back into a box that when you received it, ALL items were neatly packed and folded honestly just inconsiderate. You wouldn’t take it that way bc they would be “wrinkly” so why give it back that way?? You would make more having a yard sale or selling on marketplace. Very disappointed.

I don’t think that you selling sleepers for $3.50 a piece is meeting the seller and buyer in the middle when I’m receiving like .50 for it lol that’s all STORE PROFIT. I've really tried to stay positive about this place. With that being said, i will not be buying and selling to this place anymore. The customer service has just been terrible every single time I've been in. The one worker today literally watched me and my son struggle to carry our containers in as she was mean mugging us. Waited until we got all the way to the counter and started to fill out a sheet and THEN proceeded to tell me that they don't take anything after 7pm. Good customer service would of been to come tell me before I drug it all the way in since she was mean mugging me the whole way in. So I decided to carry my stuff back out and use the rest of my store credit because they will no longer be getting my family of fives business. On top of the prices being high for a second hand store, I found three of the exact same shorts in the exact same color all different prices ($1.50, $2.50, $3.50) I feel that if I'm driving across town to give you business you should at least take more than 3 containers (or take them since I drove all the way and sort them the next morning) or take more than five items out of them when you do. I was willing to drive out three bags at a time but the customer service was overall a deal breaker for me...

First time here. Had to find an outfit for my 2 and 8 yr old daughters last minute. I walked up to the door and saw they opened at 10 which it was 9:56. I knock and asked if I could come in and was told no. It was 25° out and I'm 5 months pregnant. So I stood out in the freezing cold for 4 minutes waiting for them to unlock the doors. Some prices were reasonable like the 10 for 10 onsies but the prices on the shoes and coats were ridiculous along with the prices on everything else. Most of the shoes I saw were run down and something you would see at goodwill. If it wasent for the 30% off I would have went elsewhere. I bought I nice coat for my youngest only to get home to find a half dollar size stain right on the butt of the coat. ( long coat) ... but yet they can charge $10 for a 4t shirt lol.
