Subway — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

WARNING!!!! AVOID the subway on Lincoln trail at all costs! I wish I would have. So very overpriced to begin with, but I ordered 2 sandwiches and a kids meal. I probably said KIDS MEAL 7 times before paying. At the register i caved and made the other two sandwiches a meal. Now for those counting that's 2 adult meals and 1 kids meal. Look at the receipt. That's 3 adult meals and an added chip! A woman came in later as we were about to pay. When I asked about the price being ridiculously high for 2 adult meals and a kids meal before I paid I was bullied and yelled at. They said pay it now and we will fix it in a minute. We have other customers to help now. You are hindering their meals. You must sit down now! Ok...now I transferred from fixing a little mistake which everyone does now and them to livid. This is intentional. This is their scam. The little guy was hiding behind the screaming loud mouthed woman. On and on she screamed! Never listened. And she made the mistake of screaming at my ex too! I waited and waited. All customers were done. She said you just need to wait. My ex got up and said forget that. She already waited patiently for all your customers. You need to fix this now. She said you need to wait for him....apparently a boss to come and talk to you about this. I said there is no talking needed to be done. You have taken money that's not yours to take. I tried showing you as you screamed over the top of me. Now you need to make it right. Return my money. Now. More customers came in as we were talking and she didn't want to lose more customers so finally at that point she gave some money back and said ohhh he was wrong. He must not have heard you. Apparently I must scream like her? She grabbed the receipt away "to show him" and refused to give it back. Too late...I have pics. At this point I lost my appetite. I didn't want to eat or stay there. The others had finished eating while waiting for the scam artist's screaming. So we left. As we got in the car, a vehicle pulled up quickly. 2 men jumped out and rushed inside. Another vehicle pulled in beside them. 2 other men rushed inside. All of them from India. Same group that runs the subway on carlyle. Up until today these were some of my favorite splurge places! So my question is what kinda "talking" was I supposed to need to wait for? And why does it require 4 adult males beyond the first man and screaming woman??? And if I would have stayed, then what??? Third world thuggery. Over fast food! Absolutely horrifying experience! AVOID THIS PLACE! None of us will...

My daughter went to this location as I frequently go myself and requested two salads with double rotisserie chicken on both as I’d usually purchase for my mom and the individual behind the counter kept carrying on as if he did not understand what she was asking for.

I had a similar experience with both the male and female there two days prior as well as another customer whom came in after me.

This use to be my go-to Subway in our area but they’ve changed that for me.

They tend to have the audacity to become angered or frustrated because they so called do not understand what you’re saying to them, plain and clear.

They’d look at each other and begin to speak their own language to each other while laughing and looking you in your face.

Back to these so called salads; my daughter took the two salads to my mom which had very little lettuce or ANY veggies at all for that matter and certainly not a double rotisserie chicken.

My mom sent me the photo of her salads while I was at work and I couldn’t believe how they treated my daughter as we pay for excellent services and don’t even receive mediocre service. Not only that, the tomatoes looked old, everything about it was ridiculous.

I started to take them back myself but didn’t want to see their faces at all so I will steer clear of that failing joint and make my own.

Sad case...

We have given this subway so many chances! They are rude and dishonest. Such as another reviewer stated with the Coupons. I got the egg and cheese, which is not excluded and had used a coupon before on the same sub. At the end they charged me for the egg separate when I asked why I was charged they said oh we started the build your own so we charged you separate. No, that is not what that is. Didn't even try to apologize and make it right. They have tried to charge me for cheese on the veggie delite when giving the tiniest amount when it's vegetarian the list goes on. The employees are almost mad people are bringing in a coupons. Stop accepting them all together if you are going to be so petty. Everyone brings in the coupons because most Subways suck now none of us want to pay the normal price, when we could go to Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's etc and be treated nicer for around the same price with no coupon. Do better! And for someone who used to work at Subway super disappointed in how these workers continue to...
