This place is usually not getting enough business for my liking and I wanted to go find out why. Being from California, it's important for me to find the best Mexican or Latin Cuisine I can. We, this one is the best I have found in the St Louis Metro area to date.

First the staff are super nice and happy. They greet you with a warm and excited hello. If you want to taste the Agua Frescas you can ask and they're happy to let you try.

As far as the food, I attached images of what we ordered so take a look at those.

My son ordered the cheese quesadilla with fries. The fries are nice and crispy, and the cheese pull is legendary!!!! Just when you think it wont pull anymore, there's more. It's also a nice salty Mexican cheese and super flavorful. You'll have to get all three salsas and see which one goes better for you, but they are all amazing!

I got the 3 chicken tamales with crema and shredded lettuce. It was filling and packed with loads of spices. I enjoyed mine with horchata to drink and the green salsa since it was already spicy. They serve the tamales on the weekends so get there before they sell out, its worth the wait.

Takozz makes the absolute best tamales and barria I’ve ever had. Plus, the food is always fresh. You will walk away full but not bloated or sluggish. When you arrive, check for tamales. The chicken tamales have a rich taste and grab a few Strawberry tamales for dessert. The street tacos are my go-to. I recommend 1 Pollo, 1 Barria and 1 Adobada. If your need a snack for later, grab a churro! The service is great and the team treats you like family, making sure everything is delicious for you. If you can’t catch them in their truck, find them at Fairview Heights Mall in the food court. Yes! Some of the best food in the St Louis Area can be found in a food court, thanks to Takozz. ALSO! I love them so much, I had them cater my wedding reception and I must say, the quality is in every part of this company. Their amazing food truck rolled up, played music, and the employees were outgoing and patient with all my indecisive guests. The food was made to order/fresh and hot. All 120 guests enjoyed their entrees. It was so nice to know that Takozz cares about every experience they create....

Man, this is 10/10 the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. From your first bite it’s really apparent how much love and care are put into their recipes and how fresh their ingredients are. I’ve had their food truck quite a few times and have tried the full menu at this point. This was my first time at their permanent location and it was as every bit incredible. Everything here is a smash hit but I have to ESPECIALLY recommend the quesabirria tacos with the consome dipping sauce. They’re just down right addictive. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful every time and the prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity of food you get. I can’t recommend this place enough....
