Burger King — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

Update: I just went there again while I was in the area. Yet again, great customer service and HOT fresh food. Maybe it's just the morning crew, but keep up the great work, it's noticed!!

I haven't had Burger King in years. Decided to stop by here when I was in the area. I heard cheesy tots had made a comeback and wanted to get in on that!

Extremely nice employee/s. I'm not sure if the lady taking my order was the same woman at the window. Either way, very friendly staff. I nearly forgot to ask for zesty sauce for onion rings but the woman taking my order had me covered and immediately asked if I wanted it!! I did get pulled forward for a few minutes. Didn't mind at all since I got there right as lunch started. The lady at the window brought my food to me as well and said it was all hot! I drove home to cville and the food was still super warm! And fresh! I'm so glad I decided to stop by there.

On a side note, while the cheesy tots were good, unfortunately they're a little bit different than they were around 2007 when I worked at BK. I still smashed them though!

There is something very comforting about a burger king hamburger. Not sure exactly why other than it never changes, for the most part is always good and has that charbroil taste that is nearly authentic as firing up the grill on a beautiful summer evening. Lol...strange to wax poetic about burgers. Had the whopper with cheese plain. As expected very good. I have an actual phobia about mayonnaise so I order all sandwiches without condiments. I figure if they don't have to add ANYTHING to the burger then it is less likely that mayo will show up unexpectedly. The onion rings I ordered alongside it was wonderful. They have the best fast food onion rings. ..salty with that underlying sweetness from the onion and a breading that is the perfect ratio between onion and flour. My dining companion had the fish fillet and thought it good for fast food but a bit oily. This is my go to burger choice if I am having fast food...it is a good thing that the nearest location is a 20 minute drive away or I might be eating this semi-unhealthy (but oh so great) meal a...

I'm not crazy about BK but my brother likes it so I find myself in the drive thru more than I would like. I usually order a combination of whoppers w/ cheese, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, & onion rings. My first issue is how much a piece of cheese costs.. ridiculous. The food is always cold and the fries are so salty they are barely edible. When you spend $50 on food it should at least be warm. Wilted lettuce shouldn't be put on a sandwich with mayo that is so old it's color is almost clear with a tinge of yellow. I also find BK a bit on the expensive side if you don't have coupons. The food was so bad this time I left a message for the GM & asked for a return call. I never did get a call back which tells me they don't care about their customers and they are content with serving garbage. I request three things when I go through the drive thru. # 1. I want to be treated with respect, #2. My order is taken correctly, and #3. Do not serve me something that you wouldn't...
