Amazing farmers market. Perfect size - with everything you need but not overwhelming. Always busy but not overcrowded. Great atmosphere - usually with live music at both ends of the market. Have everything from vegetables, to baked goods, to milk and eggs, to flowers and nuts. Favorite stands include the Bakery by the library, the mushroom-only stand, Valentine’s for fresh eggs and their fresh chicken, Gracie’s for the apple turnover and chimichangas, Greek olive oil stand, fresh bagel stand, and the milk and fresh yogurt stand right up front. Don’t forget to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee at the corner - both are great.
Highly recommend the falls church farmers market - great place to spend Saturday mornings...
Read moreThis is a fantastic farmers market! It has all the same items as the Old Town market, but without the crowd. There are plenty of produce options, as well as frozen meat vendors, egg vendors, coffee, mushrooms, tea, and so much more! There are plenty of homemade items like condiments, cheeses, breads, and breakfast options, too! The quality of the produce is also a thousand times better than what I've gotten at grocery stores. Everything is so fresh and flavorful! The vendors and other shoppers are also super friendly, and eager to share tips and recipes!
I do recommend getting here within the first hour if it being open because items get picked over...

Many of the vendors here show up at Dupont on a Sunday, so of course you are in good hands and assured high quality produce, baked goods, and breakfast/brunch items.
Go see Emily at Black Rock Orchards for her apples, stone fruit, and whatever other goodies she...
