Went into their store located on bragg blvd (my mother suggested this store because ahe had gone to them in the past) and I was greeted by a sales associate....Explain to him that I was indeed looking for a particular bedroom set that I had saw on line with another furniture company that was not located in NC (but that I could order and have delivered)...and to my surprise Kimbrell had the exact set...the associate asked how much was it advertised online and I asked him how much could he give me the set for...after he 'crunched' the numbers he said 1500. And some change, almost 1600. AND as he put it that included a 20% discount which was a deal...I almost choked the price online was 928. And i would be a 125. Shipping fee...when I disclosed how much it was online he laughed and said that wasn't right...I showed him and he then proceeded what all does it include, again showed him that it includes the bed, the dresser, mirror, night stand and chest. So he said ok you better off ordering it...then told his co-worker about it and she was stated something along the lines of yeah, ok...and he again he said that the price he quoted was the BEST price for that set and a reasonable price...No I don think so Kimbrell...y'all are over pricing your furniture and beating customers. I went to Ashley furniture and found that same set at a much much cheaper price, only a few dollars more that what was online. Kimbrell you should be ashamed of the way you do business and I will be telling all and everybody I know not to patron at your over priced furniture store! You have not only lost a new customer but also past customers, which includes family members and friends who once look to your store for quality and what they thought was affordable, reasonably ...
Read moreI didnt have the best of experiences with the bragg blvd location but liked a bed set and have an account with kimbrelles for a living room set we purchased a year ago and like the other customer they get you back with specials you cant resist when you pay your account off. Well when i walked in of course those specials were not so special 15percent off one non sale item and each store has there own specials so call around and check prices first if there is something you like. Overall gary and delores were amazing, its been 10 days and my furniture still hasnt been delivered. I guess the manufacturer no longer has supplies to make my products and will be on a back order which could ultimately make me cancel my order because this could take months, but they said they located new items at other stores so i have faith everything will work out well..im not paying what i spent to have a floor model stratched to hell. Read moreSome of the worst customer service and process I have seen in my life. We went in with a pre-approval from progressive leasing. We picked 2 items we wanted, then the lady went through the whole purchase process without communicating with us. She told us a down payment amount, I asked what the monthly payment would be and she stated we will see that on the lease. She then finishes processing everything and e-signing everything without us, we get an email stating a payment, which is way higher than we wanted and wouldn't have went through with the purchase had we known the payment. We tell her that and she says well its a done deal now, and goes to schedule delivery. We ended up calling progressive leasing and had them void everything and cancel the order. No clue how a business can completely process an order and e-sign everything for a customer without ever telling them and getting...
