Ordered a donut and 4 dogs to go Friday 6/27. My 3rd time here I believe. It's nice that there are a couple of tablets on the wall for self-ordering! No wait to order whatsoever. The petite female staff member who I spoke briefly to wasn't unfriendly, but also not extremely friendly- she was just quiet. The table we sat at while we waited for our order wasn't filthy, but could use a little wipe down. Same as most other counter service places. As a whole, it wasn't a dirty or unkempt atmosphere at all. Ordered a single toffee mochinut, and 4 dogs; mozzarella, original, and 2 hot cheetos 1/2 & 1/2. We didn't wait more than 5-7 minutes total. There were 2 other groups of people in there as well. One dining in, one leaving with take out shortly after we walked in. The donut was very good. I've had ube mochinuts in Hawaii, and the texture of this one was on par! The toffee glaze was very sweet (as one would expect), with good toffee flavor. People who complain about these donuts may not understand what they're meant to be (a little crisp on the outside, soft and a little chewy on the inside. They're made with tapioca starch and rice flour. The dogs were also very good! Not quite as good as the mozzarella ones I've gotten at H mart in Cary, but still great. I do wish they'd give you the option to roll them in sugar for you instead of having a sugar shaker at a condiment station, but that's me being nitpicky. Overall, I highly...
Read moreThis was my first time coming here. My daughter has heard about it and wanted to try it but we were very disappointed. They couldn't cook any of the corn dogs or mozzarella rolls whatever they are called because they needed to change the oil or something but this was at like 4 or 5pm and they had to wait for someone to come do it. That's kinda piss poor planning if you have to change the oil at a busy time on a Saturday. So that was super disappointing. So I can't rate the food per we because they couldn't even fry it... But they were completing be their online orders, just turning in store customers away. I get having to follow food guidelines but it was just annoying. Also I saw them still dipping the hot dogs and preparing them to fry which I thought was odd. We did get 2 donuts. I personally felt that they tasted like oil and the raspberry icing was so sticky and thick but my daughter liked it and I ended up liking the cinnamon toast crunch donut that she ordered so we switched and it was ok but if I'm going to get a donut I'd probably go to duck donuts or krispie Kreme before going here again. The whole trip (made specifically to go to mochinut from spring lake) was just very disappointing. I'm not sure I'll try to go back...
Read moreVisited this place twice. We have never been greeted upon entering. Service is usually blah, lines are usually long & so is the wait to receive your order but I absolutely love the hot Cheetos corn dogs with and without the cheese. I wish you could get the corn dog and cheese in one bite all the way through instead of the half and half or getting it without the cheese because I don't be wanting just cheese.
The French fries corn dog was good as well.
I tried the cereal one and wasn't a fan but husband liked it.
I haven't tried the donuts or whatever but my husband said he ain't like it.
Overall rating is because of service, time spent inside, they serve it to you like you're at the fair, the place is usually messy & bc of the corn dog options being half/half, just cheese or just the corn dog... instead of getting a full corn dog with cheese but the actual corn dog is a 4.
Price is reasonable (like 5.99). Good snack. They have military discount. I...
