Highland Center — Local services in Fayetteville

So here I am visiting Hunan Garden which I got the suggestion from Yelp it was listed as one of the top 10 Chinese restaurants in Fayetteville I should have been studying the signs when I drove up there were only four cars in the parking lot when I walked in I was greeted but the restaurant was like a hole in a wall goodnight it so much work and updates but sometimes that's where you can find the best food I was mistaken I still ordered my food came up to about $23 I got my food took it home it was still hot when I opened up the containers I was so disappointed I ordered the beef egg foo young and the sweet and sour chicken the sweet and sour chicken had no sauce on it and the portion was small the egg foo young did come with three patties but the patties were so white I had to check and make sure that it was cooked I'm used to getting nice golden brown egg cakes patties and when I taste the food when I tell you I would have thrown it away had I not been for the fact that I was hungry and the two packs of soy sauce this was the worst Chinese takeout that I've ever...

Highland Center has a wide variety of shops and stores to go into. The main anchor is Harris Teeter. The "has everything" grocery store really does have about everything. You can have lunch there from one of their several do-it-yourself self-service food areas. There is also a Starbucks kiosk inside the store and who's not going to like that. Pick up something for dinner before you leave and grab a bunch of fresh cut flowers for your sweetie. Highland Shopping Center is a strip mall on Raeford Rd. Harris Teeter, Stein Mart, Hallmark, Primo's Pizza, Pet Supermarket, a Chinese Restaurant, a consignment shop, an appliance store, US Post office are the highlights. It is closely located across from SECU, Dunkin Donuts, and a nondescript bank. Parallel to the road, within the parking lot is a set of mail boxes for driving up to and dropping in US mail. Cape Fear Discount Drugs is located in a centralized location. The shopping center was recently repaved and parking spaces are easily recognized.
