Amelia Musical Playhouse — Attraction in Fernandina Beach

Saw “To Kill a Mockingbird” last night and loved it. The children were amazing, impressed with their accents and many lines. Hannah James as Mayella Ewell was outstanding as was Levi Smelser as Dill. I felt like I was watching the movie. Frank O’Donnell as Atticus was warm and sincere and strong when teaching his children to respect all people and not to judge unless you’ve walked in their shoes. Barry Mack,Jr was fantastic as Tom Robinson and loved his nervous habit of tapping the table and shaking his leg. Kip Brown as Sheriff Heck Tate also was a standout. JEKYLL & HYDE SAT JUNE 19TH PERFORMANCE: I gotta be honest, I'm not much of an enthusiast when it comes to musicals....However, I absolutely loved this performance. The leads were spot on! The supporting cast was awesome and the music---great! Our first trip at the Playhouse because of an invite by one of the actors. Also, the venue is perfect size. Absolute fantastic time at amelia musical playhouse. Jill and Greg and the rest of the staff are like family. This place puts on very good shows and get great talent in their shows. You will have a great time, you can buy your tickets ahead of time, I actually recommend that since they regularly sell out of tickets. You can try to get them at the door or even try calling before hand and reserve them incase someone canceled. Enjoy the show and time and let me know if you go and what show...
