Mimi’s Coffee and Boba Tea — Restaurant in Fernandina Beach

Mimi's is family owned and operated. The very friendly father and his two lovely daughters were working there today. Having lived much of my life on the West Coast where Boba Tea is available everywhere we lived, it was great to see it is now available here in the Southeast on Amelia Island. Mimi's offers a wide variety of Boba Tea flavors. I got the classic, which I have always done, while my wife ordered a Mango Boba Tea. The Mango Boba Tea (real fruit, not just flavored tea) was very flavorful. I may break with my tradition and explore some of their other flavors in the future.

Mimi's is a little hard to find and a little difficult to get to. It is on 8th street just north of the Express Urgent Care facility near Sadler and set back from the street a bit. Coming up from the South, you have to pass it and make a U-turn to enter the parking lot. Coming from the north, it is not visible until you are almost right at the entrance. Once you know where it is, subsequent visits shouldn't be troublesome. It is worth the effort for that first visit.

They also offer a variety of coffees, ice cream, some snacks, and a limited variety of food.

I absolutely LOVE it here! We desperately needed a boba tea shop in our area and Mimi's is everything we needed! The staff is always so kind and positive and make you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door, I come here at least once a week now for good boba and great people! The cafe is small, not much in terms of indoor seating but who needs a seat when their boba teas are this good? I highly recommend their iced coffee boba, it's the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. Small little shop with great taste. The atmosphere of the place is very cute with a good amount of things on sale, including some absolutely adorable boba keychains.

The lady at the counter was very friendly and got my order done quickly.

Price was very reasonable for a tourist area and the selection of milk teas was good. I had the coffee milk tea and my wife the classic. Both were delicious and up there with the best we've had.
