Firehouse Subs Fernandina — Restaurant in Florida

Love the fresh quality of the stores no matter which one you are in. In Baker county it was a little bit of a drive but whenever I hit town I would always be there around meal time. I have since moved to Yulee and I have only eaten in Firehouse twice in the last four years because the nearest store is Fernandina Beach. YA’LL SO NEED TO COME TO YULEE!!! THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM AND LOTS OF TRAFFIC ON SR200. Most of Us are not going to drive to the beach because of the traffic. Somewhere near the Chester road intersection would be the spot. I think a store here will be a terrific addition to the N.E. Florida group of stores. Would probably eat there 3 or 4...

Staff is friendly. Sometimes they give me a drink cup free of charge! So nice, the manager. But half of the time when I ask for no pickle or lettuce, there is a pickle put in the box with pieces of lettuce throughout my sandwich. The taste of pickle gets on the sandwich and I have a food sensitivity to it, so i can’t enjoy the food that I get. I also got a cookie that was stale. I’ve had a couple great sandwiches from here so it saddens me to leave this review. Please consider making customer ASK for a pickle, so that no pickle is the new default.

Went there today to get lunch. The restaurant was crowded.People sitting at the tables with half empty cups and empty potato chip bags. The wait for a sandwich exceeded twenty minutes

The staff was nonchalantly working without any sense of urgency.

This is a result in poor management. Poor hiring and lack of staff morale. I highly recommend choosing somewhere else. For lunch, this will take an immense amount of time of your lunch break and you probably won't get the chance to eat. I thought she was in this restaurant firehouse needs...
