Don’t do Stalag 21. Azalea was extremely unhelpful.
I came here yesterday with friends and family for my birthday- party size of 5. I love escape rooms and seek out ones that are very difficult. This room is immersive and props feel authentic, but the experience was full of issues that left me very disappointed. Some of the combination locks are improperly set- we had to fiddle with combinations and several lock solutions were one number off from the real answer. Related to this, the room is FULL of red herrings. It is fine to have red herrings, but the combination lock needs to work on the right answer the first time (or the attendant needs to be paying attention) so that you don’t give up on the right track. Other key items were broken and did not function as intended. Communication with the attendant was terrible. We were told that we could use up to three hints (IMO, you really need them). We tried to ask for the first hint about 15 minutes into the game and received no response. We yelled, hit the red button, waved to the cameras, but never were acknowledged. We finally made it to subsequent rooms and the microphone for the attendant did not work. We could not hear her instructions and when we asked her to repeat, she said she needed to move back to the microphone for the first room. We sent someone back to the first room and it took several minutes for them to return with any information. The rooms are not soundproof. Be prepared to hear other teams and other attendants the entire time- it’s very distracting. The supplied flashlights barely worked- one kept flashing the entire time and the others were so dim that my father-in-law could not see anything. We arrived on time with all waivers signed however the attendant still started our game quite late. We were rushed through hallways and up two flights of stairs by the attendant- my pregnant friend was out of breath!
Perhaps unsurprisingly, we did not escape the room. We tried to communicate the issues to the attendant but she did not appear to...

In this case the customer wanted a private experience but did not book It in this manner and was mortified somebody else would be in the room with them and basically told the other customer this as well. We value everyone, and treat everyone well, we do believe that our staff also deserves to be treated well. Please go elsewhere in the future.“
The very best answer to the awful experience we had there. The contradiction of having “over board to serve customers” in the very first line to the last line “Please go somewhere else”. So some very crucial points that need to be highlighted. Not everyone knows about the policies of private room. We went there physically to book the tickets. IT IS THE JOB OF THE STAFF TO LET US KNOW ABOUT EACH POLICIES or they are just there to take the card and swipe it. We were there for the first time and we did not know all the policies. While signing the waiver, the policies should have been discussed clearly. Or is it too much to ask from a paid service? WHO EXACTLY TOLD YOU SIR/MA’AM THAT WE BEHAVED BADLY WITH YOUR STAFFS? Are you implying that we are hooligans who did not know know how to behave? Or your institution do not understand customer service? Which other customers are you talking about? We were very clear that we had no issues with the other people present in the room. They were doing what was expected in the room. But as we were complete strangers of different age groups communication of getting clues etc were a mess. We communicated our dissatisfaction to the manager present there politely.
So do not defend yourself with contradictory explanations. You are a service provider where people pay to get the experience. Each and every policies MUST BE discussed with each and every customer present there and especially when they say they are new to the service- a basic of running a customer service place. Do not accuse customers of disrespecting your staff...
Read moreFor things first... I travels 3.5 hours just to come to this facility for their experience... ok I was in town for the holidays but me and my boss lady have done a ton of escape rooms so we were eye balling them since our arrival in town. To be honest we went to a different place on a Friday evening... Black Friday to be exact. We did their room and finished around 10:30 pm, and thought hey they have multiple rooms let do another. They said they weren’t Able to allow us to do another one. So I mentioned to my boss lady let’s do the one in fishers if we can. So around 11:00pm we rolled into their front office and was greeted by this extremely nice and helpful lady who said yes we would love for you try one of our rooms. So we booked a room for 11:30... and at that point our journey began. We were taking into a secret passage which led us to waiting room were we were able to buy drinks.. yes drinks... no your typical soda and water... but BEER and WINE!! My heart just exploded we joy.. escape room and beer... I couldn’t be happier. Since me and the boss lady are seasoned vets we decided to tackle their toughest room “The POW” room... that wasn’t the actual name but my German is terrible so I’ll just call it that. My game master was Dylan who did an outstanding job with hints. They were helpful and still allowed us to figure things out. Granted we didn’t escape that room but it was an awesome experience. We enjoyed ourself so much we came back the next day to do a different room, “1776”. We had an extremely enthusiastic game master named Jonathan who was an excellent game master, he set the tone perfectly. All around excellent experience. Highly recommend to anyone doing an escape...
