Glow in the Park was beyond fun!!! I'd highly recommend going! A fun, rave environment (edm, lasers, blacklight, bubbles, the whole bit) in an incredibly family-friendly setup.
TIPS FOR VICTORY: *Wear white - it glows best - tee shirts, shoes, hair bows, etc
Take your favorite swim goggles. The paint WILL BURN if it gets into your eyeballs. If you've fitted, fog-free goggles, then you're winning already 👍 NOTE: the Parks Department supplies loaner goggles FOR FREE, but they've only a limited number, and they're the kind you wore in high school chem. It's AMAZING of Fishers to offer them, but if you've your own, then I think you'll be happier 🥰*
Purchase ALL THE GLOW STICKS you might want/need beforehand. You'll have so much fun throwing them, sharing, and making chainmail out of them. NOTE: they're free at the party, but they're limited*
*Grab mosquito-repellant bracelets. Inexpensive, effective. Victory!
*Arrive early and get in line for the face-painting!!! It's SO GREAT!! ADULTS: get your face painted! I regret skipping it, because the pictures would have ROCKED!
*Hydrate and have fun!!!
This is the most awesome, colorful, dance-crazy block party EVER!...

I really wish that they had kept the original location because this amphitheater is one of the worst ones I’ve been to. I love outdoor concerts and one huge draw is that lawn spots are relatively affordable but these tickets weren’t as affordable as other places I’ve been to. I wouldn’t particularly care about the price but because the amphitheater didn’t have any screens to project the concert for people seated past the sound booth to see you were basically just listening to the concert instead of actually seeing the band; if I wanted to do that I could’ve just pulled up a live recording on a streaming service. Otherwise the lighting and the sound quality was fine, just wish I could’ve actually...
Read moreBeen here several times over the recent 4-5 years. The ampitheatre is remodeled with a new stage roof/supports and speaker system. It was slightly windy and the speakers swayed on their hinges. There aren't enough seating for this location if they have food vendors. It is a fairly large open area, though so has plenty of people capacity. Parking stinks. But it is nearby the local businesses and government offices so a convenient detour. Disappointed the Spin Doctors cancelled out last minute. Wish the place would have shows NOT during weekday nights,on weekends, what's up with that, they used to have them on weekends. At least they have a (new?) building with a conference room...
