From my experiences with this Fish Hatchery Rd. Walgreen, it is by far the worst Walgreens in every aspect -- Photos, Pharmacy, General Retail, Management! This place frequently has problems with their machines and their management. In the past, I ordered photos online with my credit card and picked up quickly and easily. Now some managers said I needed my credit card to pick them up cuz the online one is not used. Other managers just let me pick them up cuz they use the one I used online. Another time when purchasing something at general checkout, the machine wouldn’t take my gift card. I called the corporate # and they confirmed it was active and had full amount, and said it’s the store problem with machines. So I took the gift card to a different Walgreens and it worked fine. ”Managers" change daily and they each tell you something different and/or blame “corporate.” The Pharmacy Dept. was another bad experience... the same Walgreens on Fish Hatchery Road, Fitchburg, WI. I went to pick up an order. They couldn't find my order, even though I have a confirmation of it. Yesterday, I had called and spoke with a pharmacist to see if it was ready. She said they were waiting for my insurance to approve payment of it. So today I stopped in (drive through) to see if it was ready. The pharmacist told me they couldn't find any order for me at all -- either in the store or in the pharmacy. I can't believe this place stays...
Read moreNever have a good experience with refilling my medication. Not one time has it been smooth. When I do a refill over the phone it never refilled the meds I ask for it only does some of them not all of them. I asked for a refill on my inhaler and it said it would be ready in 2 days. When I called today when it was supposed to be ready it was never processed and I’ve needed this inhaler for 2 days now. When my doctor has sent over refills there has been multiple times where it is impossible for me to get them because your system says I don’t have any but my Dr sent them over. And that puts my Dr in a weird situation where they can’t just keep sending refills and not know where they go which then screws me over and it always seems to be my inhalers which ofc I’m struggling to breath for days until it either calms down or I might just get my meds. I use GoodRx and this is one of the cheapest places to go but I thinking of changing pharmacy and paying more for my meds because y’all can’t get it right. I’m sick of wait for days on end or not being able to get my meds because I have to call the pharmacy and dr 10 time to try and figure out where my 10 refills went or your system wont process them...
Read moreIs this one of the stores in the Walgreens operation that will be closing as announced by the Deerfield Illinois Headquarters? I am very disappointed with the Pharmacy at this store. My Doctor placed a rush order to start taking last night (1/24/25). My sickness had progressed to a serious state. I phoned the store and was told that it would be ready by 7:30 pm. I arrived at 7:30 pm and the pharmacy was closed. I was told by the person in the photo department that the pharmacist, he/she got sick and decided to close the department and send staff home and the pharmacy would not be open for the rest of the weekend. Totally exhausted by this experience, I decided to wait till today (1/25/25). My wife was now involved since I was to Ill to do any follow-up. She called the triage Nurse At UW Hospital in Madison to find out if she could help us since the Fish Hatchery store had not entered the order into the system. She was able to reissue the request to Walgreens on PD and Maple Grove road. They had it completed within a very short period of time.. How many other customers were impacted? Will you be making contact with me? I’m curious to know what action...
