Vintage Blossoms LLC — Attraction in Flat Rock

I placed an order for a flower delivery for a special person whom just got out of the hospital. I was looking for a local florists in Flat Rock, MI. I found Vintage Blossoms LLC and went to their website. I found a flower arrangement that I liked and placed the order online on September 30, 2021. Since I hadn't heard from the recipient, I thought I should call the florist directly. The young girl that answered the phone couldn't find my delivery order. She searched, asked me for the order number, and then tells me that my order had been cancelled shortly after I placed the order due to " at capacity " because of Home Coming. She stated that she sent me a cancellation email which I never received. She told me to call the Flower shop network, a third party, whom they hired, and talk to them about my refund on my visa. The person I did talk to there sent me the email where the order had been cancelled. So far, my visa transaction is pending. She told me not to contact them if the payment should process because it is out of their hands. How can it be out of your hands when customers are ordering flowers on line and in which the orders are also coming from the florists it lists? In my case it was Vintage Blossoms LLC.

I am very very disturbed with Vintage Blossoms. Someone from there should have CALLED ME to let me know that my order had been cancelled. This could have gone on a long time without me knowing if the flowers I placed with them were delivered or not. A $ 75.00 order- NOT CHEAP!

I do not and will not recommend Vintage Blossoms. I will not use them for any future orders. This is very poor business.

I was able to call another local florist today, October 1, in Woodhaven and my order is going to be delivered shortly. The woman even told me she would text me once the order was delivered.

I normally don't like to write bad reviews but felt like it should be told.

I cannot believe that I haven't posted a review for this amazing shop yet. Honestly, it is one of the best shops around. I love the owner(s). They make you feel like your order is their only order. Even when it's the busiest of days. I have used them for just about every occasion, dances, showers, birthdays, funerals and just because. Every arrangement has been stunning. I 1st realized how special this shop was a few years back. My son went on his own to suprise me for Mother's Day. Needless to say he hit a few snags in his endeavor. They treated him with absolute kindness and respect. And were so helpful! I knew after he told me about his experience, that I wouldn't be using another florist again. Since that encounter they have made all of his flowers for his dances. I have ran into them at Market's and other such events, they always have a warm smile and greeting for us. Figured I would support small businesses for Christmas this year and peak into all the shops in the area, found a beautiful shirt for my grandma for Christmas. I was so excited. Gave it to her early and it was too small so I called the next day to see what exchange policies they have or what I could do. Was told I don't know what to tell you, I don't know what to do. I guess there is a sign on the counter for no returns or exchanges. I didn't notice it and was never told but I was just more taken back by the fact that she just didn't care and now I have wasted my money on a shirt that my grandma can't even fit into that she absolutely loved.
