I bought a remote start 2 years ago and have been very happy with it. I replaced my battery recently and had to have the remote start reprogrammed. I went there 3 times to have it done and was told the first time to come back at 9am because they took warranty work first. I returned at 9:20am and was told I was 'too late' and to come back at 4 or 5. I returned at 4 and was told there were 2 other cars ahead of me. I told the clerk I thought warranty came first. The clerk turned his back on me. I told him I have been there 3 times to get this taken care of and he repeated that there were 2 cars ahead of me. What ever happened to customer service and respect? I asked the clerk what was the problem and he said they had to replace the module. I inquired about what the module was...did they replace the unit itself. I got a one word answer...No. I asked if there were any paperwork for me. Again a one word answer...No. There was no offer of sorry for the inconvenience, have a nice evening or even a good by. Customer service goes a long way softening the inconvenience of many situations. But I would suppose Duke's doesn't care if they have repeat...
Read moreI will never go to or recommend Duke's Car Stereo. I went to Duke's for help to make my car stereo louder and I did not have alot of money. I ended up FINANCING OVER $2000 and my stereo still WAS NOT what I initially went to Duke's. The staff COMPLETELY took advantage of my lack of knowledge of car stereo options/equipment, did not ask me ONE question and I had NO IDEA what I was purchasing. After A WHOLE DAY of installation, I wasn't even out of the parking lot, volume maxed and was unsatisfied. I then, went right back into Duke's explaining to them that my stereo was not loud enough and no where near from what I INITIALLY went there for...Duke's staff said for an extra $350, I could get another Sub. By far, one of the worst, most costly, unprofessional experience I have ever been through. By far, the WORST PART is I LIVE for my music in my car, its my EVERYTHING. Not only do I not have a system, I have a $2000 bill I have no idea...
Read moreWindow tinting and remote starter installation - I called them this morning at 9:30am, had my vehicle there by 10:15am. They were calling me at 12:15pm to tell me that my vehicle was all set and ready. 2 hours DONE! Quality job. Awesome staff. Total satisfaction. They even placed bright reminder stickers on my window buttons to continuiously remind me not to roll down my windows as the tint sets up and dries. What an ingenious idea. That's why they've been in business as long as they have. Way to go Dukes, keep up the good work. I am going to have them install my stereo, amp, and speakers this summer as well....
