this may have been the worst experience i've had. We had a party of 10, and it was horrible from the time we walked in. we were the last of our party to arrive, but it literally took 20 mins before our server came to acknowledge our arrival. Everyone who had arrived before us had empty drinks, because server was nowhere to be found. there were only 4 other tables sat and 2 other servers in the floor, and they were all taken care of.... finally I asked one of other servers if we could order drinks and mentioned other people needed to re order drinks as well. She said she'd get our server for us, and we still didn't see her for several minutes. She finally came out and apologized, said she was "stressed" but she's ready now and took drink order for my girlfriend and myself but walked away leaving everyone else with empty drinks. another few mins goes by and she brings our drinks we tell her we are ready to order, food and she walks away to other end of table. says she needs to get drink re-orders and once she gets those she will come back and get food orders. she mentioned again bar and her were very stressed. there were a total of 20 people in the entire place, not sure what could've been so stressful. she came back took our food order but rushed thru it so fast she didn't get a lot of it right. it took well over 30 mins for 9 of our ten guests to get their food, and mine which was a simple order of two shrimp tacos, another ten mins. I will say my margarita was excellent. I had the red eye margarita, but should've ordered two at a time because she was by far the worst server i've ever had. our food did come out hot,by rest of staff who just yelled out entree and waited for someone to claim it. but I honestly could've gotten better shrimp tacos at del taco. it came out with 4 shrimp in each, but only sautéed onions n bell peppers, no pico, no cheese, no lettuce, no seasoning on shrimp just pink shrimp with mushy onions and peppers. waitress stood at bar talking to bar guest instead of checking to make sure our food was delivered correctly or to ask if we needed anything. by the time she did come I asked for cheese, guac, sour cream and pico, but it was too late, they were luke warm and tortilla soggy by the time I was able to put toppings on them. I tried talking to waitress to see if I could reorder them and she just walked away, pretending not to hear me. my girlfriends deep fried burritos were tasty but she said weren't fried long enough. her son's nachos came out with dry chicken and no cheese, just lettuce and chicken, not what he ordered the whole experience was absolutely absurd, and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. awful, I...
Read moreWe went for the first and last time last night after seeing some recommendations on Facebook. First impression was good. The restaurant smelled good, and the host seated us right away and got us a basket of chips. The salsa was not great, and the chips were unseasoned. Our server was Erica and she seemed bothered that we were there; she did not smile one time the entire time we were there. When she brought our drinks and asked if we were ready to order, we told her we wanted the fajitas for 2, she wrote it down, put her book away, and started to walk away before we were even done ordering. We got the Azteca soup and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Salt was the only flavor in the soup. When our fajitas came, the cold plate came with about a tablespoon of sour cream, and two tablespoons of guac. The lettuce was also very sparse, and there was no cheese. Because our waitress was so unattentive, we just ate what we got. Most of my meal, my drink was empty. She waited until my husbands margarita was empty to offer me a refill and then told me she’d bring me just one more (I had Diet Coke/Pepsi). The fajitas were also over seasoned, but nothing like the soup. The chicken and steak were mixed with the onions and green peppers. We still ate them, but I prefer to have the meats separated. The veggies were still quite crisp, and maybe some people will like that, but I prefer to have more carmalization on my fajita veggies. The best part of the whole dining experience was that both the women who brought food out were super friendly. My husband and I both thought they’d be better suited as wait staff. There are just too many other decent Mexican options in the area to waste time or money...
Read moreMy family planned a surprise 65th Birthday party for me at this restaurant tonight. There were about 35 of us, so quite a good sized party with only 1 server for the whole group. She tried really hard, but was clearly overwhelmed!! We all ordered & waited over 45" before the 1st plates came out. Some of us were done eating before the last people got their meals. Over 40" from the time the 1st plate came out to when the last meal was served. I feel this was uncalled for as people all around that came in after we placed our orders were getting their meals, & we still had people waiting for their meals. The good was delivered by all differant servers who had no idea where the orders were supposed to go. And the bills took as long to come out. We had cake, & presents too, & people were waiting for their bills so they could leave. The food is always good, but I would never do another big party there. Too much disorganization!! And then a fight started behind us, & no one did anything. We had children in our group, & the 2 females fighting were swearing, & physically pulling hair, hitting & shoving each other into the bench some of the little ones were on. Several of the little were scared & crying. So even though the food was good, & our server tried really hard, I don't know that I will go...
